Unfortunately we only made it to the Famers Market once while we were visiting Sierra Vista. It is a very nice place to go to pick up some local products. There are limited items available during the winter months but, you should still find local produce and other stuff at reasonable prices. I understand that there is sometimes a Food Truck there so you can also get some lunch from a local business.

I love the Farmer's Market and would love to buy more healthy food and tea but some of the prices are out if this world.I can get organic stuff at the stores or internet cheaper. Most of the stuff I make myself. In any event, it is cute and the local honey great!

If you've been to Sierra Vista, you'll know there isn't much to do for a young lady. But thank god i'm not a typical LA/Valley girl who needs to go shopping and every other word is "omahgod"...i'll admit i say "like" a lot..sorry :\ but anyways...came to visit Sierra Vista because my friend is here for training @ Fort Huachuca, which a lot of people are...didn't want to stay cooped up in the room all day and so i went to search what this little town can offer. found out that there's a farmers market every thursday...now...i'm biased of course, being from LA where i basically have access to a farmers market almost everyday at several locations...going to this one kind of burst my bubble. but what can i really except from this small town...well...not many vendors, but still awesome products and super friendly people..both vendors and patrons, which is hard to find in LA at times. would i go back? sure...i'm going back the next week since i'll be here another week..especially to visit this scone lady with yummy scones :) haven't been able to find a good scone since scone works up in SF several years ago...it's a small city, so it's going to be a small farmers market, but it's great for what it's worth...i really do love the people around here most of all...so friendly..

PLANET OF THE CREPES! Pesto, and cheeses, and dessert crepes, OH MY!Along with regular farm-market stuff, of course: plants, soaps, fresh fruits, veggies, etc - all of it great. But ,seriously. Crepes! It's a food truck from Tucson, so you know it's going to be amazing. And with just a few more visits, my behind will also be referred to as a planet of the crepes. Hooray!

I've been to this place a few times. I just love the fact they can do this every Thursday. Everyone here is friendly. There are a variety of venders there. I have tasted and bought excellent beef jerky. There are things here like hand stitched beanies and purses, jewelry, baked breads, hand sewn aprons, soaps, device, tamales, kettle corn, frozen meats sold but the pound. My favorite today was the kind lady selling Pasties. If you don't know what pasties are then boy you need to try one. It's a hand pie made from scratch with a homemade pie crust filled with meats, seasonings and onions, folded into a pie shape and baked. I bought 2 beef pies, which is ground beef with potatoes onions and seasoning. Sooo delicious. I surprised my boyfriend today and brought him home something delicious from his childhood.

I don't live in Sierra Vista so I'm not really surprised I didn't hear about this sooner... Apparently it's been around for a while (just changed locations recently). I saw the Planet of the Crepes truck driving down highway 90 on my way to work one morning and asked a friend where they were heading. That's when I found out there is a farmers market in Veteran's Memorial Park on Thursdays from 10-2. I went around 11:30 and it was already packed and vendors were starting to run out of items! I need to get there earlier to check out the lady with the sourdough bread and have more fresh goat cheese flavor options. I did snag some fresh cage free brown eggs though (for $2.50!). For being a fairly small market there are a bunch of unique vendors. One lady even had some beautiful teal emu eggs. I've never seen those before. There are plenty of fruit and veggie vendors with local and organic produce as well breads & sweets, cheeses, honey & jam, crafts, a guy who sharpens knives, local and organic meats & eggs, crafts and much more. There were also a few food trucks offering lunch!I hope I get a chance to frequent this market on my lunch hour more often!

I have been a patron of the Sierra Vista Farmer's Market for almost three years now and have always been so pleased with the products I buy from the vendors. There is so much variety in the offerings of the vendors. Some of my favorite things are the San Pedro River Valley salsa, the amazing tortillas and chips from Tortilleria Arevalo, the pickles from Grammy's Garden, the honey face and body scrub from Planet Earth (by far the best skin product I've ever used - my skin is ten times better than it's ever been since I started using this product!), and so many more. I never come home with a shortage of delicious local foods. This market is truly one of Sierra Vista's greatest treasures. Heard they're moving to Veteran's Park in July 2013, which will be an even better location and will hopefully bring the market to the attention of way more Sierra Vistans. The vendors and staff of the market are all so friendly and helpful. The vendors know their regular customers and treat them so well! The farmer's market is a wonderful asset to our community.

Pretty bad. I have been there about a dozen times over 2 years. Sometimes it is ok but I have gotten sausage that had gone bad, meat with long shards of hard white plastic inside it (twice). Also, while great in season, the citrus is often the worst oldest oranges I have ever bought. Awful. I tried one food cart which was really bad. The others I haven't the courage to try. On the good side, the bread, pastries, coffee cart, candies, dates and the prepared Greek and Italian food are mostly excellent.
