Both my children attend FLA Pre-School and I can't imagine a better place for them to be! The teachers are true teachers, not just babysitters. My 4 year old has come home singing songs that teach him how to spell his colors and my 1 year old is coming home singing her ABCs! These teachers have a true gift!

My family has had children at this school since 2013! My oldest is finishing up his 2nd year in college and my baby is now promoting to high school. Overall, we have had a wonderful experience. School is school, and kids will be kids, but knowing that my children were getting a Christian education and that they were seen & cared for by their teachers and school staff makes a difference. I love the small class sizes as well. Love Family Life Academy!

My children have absolutely thrived at FLA. The teachers genuinely care about their students and the small classes endure they don't get lost in the crowd. They get a wonderful education and the school ends up feeling like a big family!

enrolled my daughters here during the start of Covid because this school has been open safely (in-person) since the start of the pandemic. They chose to put students first and I'm so thankful that they opened their doors because as an educator myself, I can see the first hand learning gap that our children are facing because of school closures. My daughters left a school that had almost 30 students in each class. Parents... class size matter. My daughters who are very timid and sweet were being distracted by the behavior students at their old school. Currently, at Family Life Academy their class sizes are around 15 students. I have had great experiences with all the teachers. There was one substitute teacher that my daughter said was mean but I think it was only because she liked order. I like that the teachers are all experienced teachers that have years of experience working with children. Yes, this school does not have a brand new fancy building but The heart is there. The school was very helpful in helping me secure 100% funding for school this year. At first I was concerned about not being able to afford it but after talking with the administration they put me at ease. If you are looking for Christian private school options for your children, now is the time as there is funding available to all, even middle class wage earners. My daughters still attend FLA and I'm writing this review so that it will offer light to other families. However, if your child has behavoral issues that hurt or distract others from learning, I would like you to know that at FLA there are real consequences... Not like what happens at charter or public schools where they sweep these behaviors under the rug. This is why I chose to partner with FLA in educating my children. After 2 years being here, it is still the right choice.

My 6 year old sun attended family life acedemy in tucson az. During a volunteer event during school hours I witnessed a substitute teacher grab my sons arm in an agressive manner and directed him towards his seat. I ran over to him to make sure he was okay. I felt like i was hit by a truck witnessing that. She didnt know i was his mom and i went to the office immediately. The vice pronciple said she didnt work there and they cant do anything about it. So for 2 months it was lingering feelings. I never went up to her to confront her because i didnt want to make a scene in front of the students. I just let it go until i found out she was going to be my sons substitute teacher. It turns out she does work there. The principle apologized for the miscommunication and set up a meeting to try and reconsile this. She expressed remorse and i told her i can move past this. The next day i was called in the office and was told that this has affected his staff greatly of me having this acccusation against a teacher and we were kicked out. School ends in 2 months and i begged and pleaded for them to reconsider and told them that it wasnt fair . It was 3 against 1 in the room. Nothing ever happened to the teacher and instead we got kicked out. This is such an outrage . He was kicked out on 3/21/17 . I wouldnt advise coming to this school at all they tried to hide and cover this up i filed a police report against the teacher and school. The way they handled this was an out rage.
