I love this place! So far I have done two warm yoga classes and two yin (all by different teachers). I absolutely love it. The classes allow you to push yourself, the instructors are there to guide you and are so welcoming. My favorite thing about going is when you walk in and you can feel the calm in the air. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Honestly I'm quite particular about my yoga classes- if it's not the right level of intensity or variety then it's easy for me to get bored. Well, since discovering FIT Yoga's heated vinyasa class with Trey, I have found a new studio that I love on the NW side of town!Trey's class includes a flow that is never the same as the previous week. He sets the class up based off of everyone's skill set. If I feel inclined to add more of a challenge, then I'll make the adjustment. But most of the time, Trey's class is exactly what I'm looking for in my practice.Keep in mind this isn't a bikram class, but exactly as stated: heated. If you're looking for a sweaty class, you won't quite get that. But, you will get an incredible flow and workout in. The class sizes range from 5-8 people which creates more of an intimate setting. Either way, I'm incredibly grateful for the studio and love how it's part of my weekly practice!

OK - Arizona Power Yoga gets a solid 5 stars....if I could give six I would :)My wife and I have been going there for the past 8 months (or so - can't remember) and yoga has become part of our lifestyle. This is a great studio - it is a warm vinyasa yoga. I remember the first time I went - I was all stressed out from work - you get done and walk out unstressed and feeling good. It was absolutely amazing. It doesn't matter your current fitness level - you do as much as you need to do for you. Nobody thinks more or less of you if you are new and don't know poses, or if you can bend like Gumby (some people may not know who Gumby is.....Google it). Over the course of 8+ monthish, with eating healthy, my fitness level has improved, I have lost 30 lbs and for the first time in over 20+ years my cholesterol is within normal limits. The owners Ron and Anita are just amazingly nice...and ALL OF THE INSTRUCTORS ARE EXCELLENT. A great way to try this place is to go to their 'Happy Hours'. You can drop in and pay $5.00 (plus a couple of dollars if you need a mat) and try it. We started out going to the happy hour once or twice a week and worked up from there as we felt the need for more. Check out their website for the schedule because it does change and certain days have happy hour and certain days don't. If your schedule doesn't allow you to make a happy hour - just show up at another time to try it. A great thing is that there is a wide time period that classes are conducted - even a couple of days at 6:00AM and may days they schedule classes later into the evening (including candlelight classes).

I first started attending when they were on silver bell (AZ Power Yoga) & made the conversion over to thornydale when they merged and became F.I.T. Yoga. I love the Martins (Anita & Ron). They are so friendly, warm, and welcoming. I also love that they do a drop of lavender & mini massage (temples, earlobes, etc) at the end of class during savasanah. I've only seen that once before nearly 15 years ago (and 3 states away), but it is my absolute FAVORITE way to end class in full relaxation. F.I.T. Yoga offers reasonably priced classes & package deals that help make it affordable depending on your frequency of practice. I like the new studio space and, as a bonus, it's right around the corner from my house :) If you're on the NW side, it's hands down the best studio around. Give it a try!

This is the best place I've been to in Tucson for true power yoga. I've been a fan since the owner/founder Joseph had Body Wisdom Yoga on 6th St years ago. The teachers push you to push yourself in the most balanced way possible. The facilities are great, brightly lit, and clean. If you've never done power yoga or Baptiste style yoga, and are up for an invigorating, stress relieving challenge, check 'em out.

I LOVE this place!! My instructor today was incredibly good at what she does and so helpful in correcting my posture and pulling/pushing me into position. This is the first place I've been to that strictly focuses on yoga. Usually I will take classes at a fitness club or the YMCA, so this was such a wonderful experience. The studio is absolutely beautiful and serene. I am always worried about getting cold but the studio was kept quite warm, which is how I like it. I enjoy the Baptiste style of yoga and I'm very much looking forward to returning. The only downside for me is that it's quite pricey, but since this is my first time in an actual studio, it may be normal.

I'm fairly new to yoga and AZPY has been very welcoming. No pressure to "get it right" and all instructors have been happy to provide personalized attention.

I have been to quite a few Yoga studios over the past 2 years - and my love and interest for Yoga started at Arizona Power Yoga with Joseph and Chelsea. They are upbeat, professional, and VERY knowledgeable. The studio is super-clean (a MUST in my book!) and they really work with you to address not only the physical aspects of yoga, but on the mental clarity and focus that comes from outstanding yoga instruction.

After searching for a yoga studio in Tucson for months, I stumbled into AZPY with curiosity and interest in flow yoga. Previously, I dabbled in bikram and restorative yoga and had no idea what to expect from a flow class. Initially, I was a bit turned away because of the distance, but once I went to one class, I determined it was WELL worth driving a little bit further. AZPY provides an environment where the beginner, semi-trained, and seasoned yogi can learn and improve their current practice with a spin of flow, fun, and heat. Upon walking in, the staff and other yogis are extremely engaged and welcoming. One thing I absolutely love about this studio is that there are so many regular yogis; you almost always see familiar faces every time you go, and they are as friendly as can be!This practice is one of the most efficient and hardest to find. You are in a warm room, which is sometimes hotter than others and yes, you will be dripping sweat by the end! Every teacher and every practice is different, they know how to switch it up enough to where you don't get bored, but you still can progress through poses. The best part--you work your butt off for 60-75 minutes and it feels like you're playing. With the insertion of inversions, arm balances, warriors and breathing, the class swings by and you've gotten a great workout in.AZPY is hands down the best yoga studio in Tucson (and since I've moved to Phoenix, the best in Phoenix as far as I'm concerned!). This studio is a great resource to transform your mind and body; it's such a therapeutic and energizing form of yoga. The owners, Ron and Anita, are wonderful people as well as wonderful instructors; they have so much passion for yoga and life that it will inspire you indefinitely.AZPY is also a largely community based studio, if you are looking to meet new people and enjoy friendly company, they are always having events inside and outside of the studio. From spa nights, painting the studio together, and volleyball games, they provide such a fun environment for all of the yogis who want to get involved!
