I was disgusted and appalled to find out that my 89-year-old grandmother had an appointment in there today and had was forced to have a mask TAPED to her face. What a horrible display of elder abuse she will not be back neither will anyone that I know!!! I had an eye exam maskless a year ago at Hothi optometry. A YEAR AGO!! I can't even trust someones judgement that is this scared, misinformed and not to mention cruel! Hopefully my grandmother will not need a dermatologist now after your abuse with the tape.

Very disappointing, I made my appointment with Dr Wanon for a diabetic eye exam and was not informed that he is no longer with them. I traveled from Casa Grande for the exam because in the past it was the most comprehensive I had gotten. The refraction test was inaccurate and poorly done. The total exam was shortened and not as comprehensive as in the past. I also wanted contacts and was informed that they do not do contact examinations. I am very dissatisfied.

Dr. Bakewell has been my ophthalmologist for decades! He is an awesome doctor as well as a lovely person! He did my first cataract surgery and the second is in a week! I recommend him highly!

this office is the worst to get ahold of. They have a phone system to put your number in a queue to receive a call back, the system calls you back just long enough to leave the notification of a missed call but never rings long enough for you to actually to answer the call

The doctors are fine, but they can't seem to keep the same doctors more than a year at a time. I stuck with this practice for too long and had at least 5 different doctors. Two years ago I finally had enough when they said no one there writes scripts for contacts! Yes, contacts! You would've thought I was asking for X-ray vision googles. The billing folks are a real treat. Apparently it's hard to differentiate between vision and medical insurance. And, when they mess it up, it's impossible to admit and fix. For a full year I went back and forth with their billing servicer to fix their error. Finally the issue was resolved. Well, jokes on me! After a year of being rid of these clowns for a year, I received a bill yesterday for an appointment 2 years ago. Surprise, they have a new billing servicer. Stay away! Stay far away! You leave there without contacts, a charge you didn't really incur and a huge headache.

Really bad experience cataract surgery was not successful, got 3 different opinions on how to proceed, had another test done nobody called with results, tried probably 10 times over a 2 week period leaving messages NO return calls. Horrible customer service there many choices in Tucson that offer the same service. Be smart and choose somewhere else !

This is the worst optometrist office in Tucson. Over priced and power hungry front staff. They tried to withhold my prescription when I told the front lady fucking bullshit I'm being charged 50.00 extra dollars, when I just paid 129.00 for an eye exam on the following Friday. Avoid this office like the plague. They are so dense that the staff still wears paper masks to protect against Covid. Not a pleasant experience. And if you do go go there for your eye care needs give the rude lady at the front desk a fat finger for me.

I have a cyst on my eyelid. My primary care doctor assured me it was not an infection, just a cyst, and suggested I see an ophthalmologist to have it removed. I called Eye Associates of Tucson and asked if they took my insurance. They did. I explained what was wrong and asked to make an appointment. The woman I spoke to said I would have to see an optometrist first to rule out infection then I could see Dr. McCarty to have it removed. I explained it is very difficult for me to take time off work and my primary care already ruled out infection. I asked if I could just see Dr. McCarty. She said no. I said I will need to go somewhere else... and she slammed the phone down. She hung up on me despite the fact that I was being very polite and my request was completely appropriate. I called back and spoke to the office administrator, Shawn. She was apologetic and gave me the numbers of two ophthalmologists that work for different companies and suggested I call them. While I appreciate her professionalism, I would not recommend this eye practice to any who values being treated with respect or having their time respected.
