Thigh doctor in itself was OK. Had to take the test two times the retail center for Glasses is the biggest scam uneducated rip off spent close to $800 for a pair of glasses. The lady told me I would be reimbursed from the insurance company I just had to fill out the form. She was totally incorrect. Does not know what she's talking about. I will never ever go back to this company again. Please do your due diligence before you get scammed out of a lot of money.

This office was somewhat difficult to communicate with and set up an appointment. They do not seem very well coordinated with regard to customer service, and the two associates that greet patients and answer calls did not seem to be on the same page. The staff does not seem to understand that a typical patient might not have any experience with eye issues. Something just seemed a little off and uninspired with that staff.MDs are only available for certain conditions, and that does not include eye injuries. Dr. Gakopoulos seemed competent to conduct an exam, but both times I saw her she had an annoying tendency to assume I knew as much about post-injury medications as she did. She rushed through the treatment instructions, provided nothing in writing, and I had to request that she slow down so I could take notes. There must be other eye health providers that follow the more broadly accepted protocol of providing a print-out with written instructions when you leave the office. I will try to find another provider for eye issues in the future.

Do not trust these people with your eyes. The exam is done by a clerk, not the ophthalmologist. When I got home and compared it to my last prescription it seems my astigmatism had magically gone away. It took over two hours to get a 15 minute exam. The ophthalmologist told me right away I would have to have cataracts removed next year, when I questioned about the details of how they are, he could not give me any details and then decided I could wait 4 or five years. They are simply in the business of selling cataract surgery. A complete waste of time, now I have to go somewhere else and get my eyes tested for real.I wish I could get the insurance company to not pay them.

Going to this practice was an absolute waste of time. Dr. Reddy was dismissive and unhelpful. With her demeanor and inability to spend more than 5 minutes with a complex case, she shouldn't be seeing patients at all. If you want decent care at all, find another practice.

Here is my first and only experience with Eyes of Tucson. I called to make an appointment and the young woman answering hung up on me. I called again thinking maybe we were disconnected and they hung up on me again. I initially was asked what my problem was and I explained blurred vision and sensitivity to light and that I needed my eyes to be diagnosed because there was something wrong. That when I was disconnected. That's my experience. Maybe it saved me from being a patient here because no one wants to be treated like that.

I should have avoided this practice based on all the negative reviews but I went against better judgement. The consultation went ok but when I scheduled surgery for 4 weeks later, I arrived 20 minutes early to be told my appt was cancelled and I couldn't be rescheduled for another 3 weeks!. No call, no voice mail. I had to drive to the office to find out. When confronted the office staff sticks to their lie of "we called" but maybe we had the wrong number. When I file a complaint on their website they are quick to respond to my phone #. I will not be going back to this poorly run practice/office. Terrible experience and fake empathetic office staff.

Dr. Colerick has been caring for my eyes for about three years now, and Dr Diesenhouse just did cataract surgery on both my eyes. Everyone, staff, techs, doctors has been friendly and supportive at every visit. I'm very satisfied with all of the services I've received.

Dr. Reddy was useless. Did not take quality time to talk to me about my symptoms and basically walked out when she thought she was done with me. Gave me a business card for another Dr. and that was it. No bedside manner, no nothing. I guess she was to busy to talk to me. Will not be going back. I hate the US healthcare system. It sucks!

Really bad experience cataract surgery was not successful, got 3 different opinions on how to proceed, had another test done nobody called with results, tried probably 10 times over a 2 week period leaving messages NO return calls. Horrible customer service there many choices in Tucson that offer the same service. Be smart and choose somewhere else !

On this year's exam, has twice made and remade prescriptions for a member of the family too strong in bifocals. Ignored advice from previous prescription of add for bifocals. Problem is not reading but viewing dash while driving. Individual doing initial exam and diagnosis for lenses was brusque and ignored questions and remarks from patient and companion. This and other eye card businesses charge AHCCCS patients $50-55 to get copy of prescription. Reason given is that the patient is there for medical reasons for diabetes preventive care and Rx is send to "doctor." Rx was not sent to PCP but to another company, Nationwide, which gives a 10% discount to AHCCCS patients. Patient does not have choice of provider for lenses in that instance and would pay more for lenses than other providers using Nationwide. Reported to AHCCCS director.
