Exhaust Works on Broadway

Ugh I hate leaving bad reviews. I'll try to keep this short, pictures (at bottom) worth a thousand words and all. Was quoted $350 over the phone for a catalytic converter shield for my Prius, was charged $400 without explanation or detailed invoice despite several requests. Offers no theft deterrence of any sort due to shiny bolts without any washers/thread-lock that are removed in seconds with crescent wrench. Welds are a mess. When I expressed my concerns I was told, "welds could be tidier, but structurally fine" which due to its distance off the undercarriage and the Prius's low clearance, I disagree. After a looking at the pics, the individual that sent me to Exhaust Works will be withholding further referrals until it's properly addressed(I suggest the same for those reading this). Also inspected by a local fabricator who couldn't understand the cost saying, "it looks like it was made of scraps." Will be removing and replacing with the MillerCat shield recommended by Toyota for half the cost.

Exhaust Works on Broadway..............I will never spend another penny at this business again.I cannot and never will recommend this business.I felt that I paid WAY too much for what they sold me and the level of service I received.Had my catalytic converter stollen out from under my F250 at 4:30 AM. Needed to use my truck, so had to have it replaced immediately, so went to Exhaust Works on Broadway. They charged me $1,136.00 and my truck stopped running one mile from leaving the shop. Had to have it towed back because of the hack job they performed, causing fuses to blow, making the truck die. They did not offer to discount the price, and did not offer to pay for the tow. To add insult to injury, they did not even bother to apologize for what they did.I later found the same catalytic converter on e-bay.com for $175.00 - $250.00, that they charged me $925.00 !

Been to numerous places over my lifetime for exhaust work; none have compared to the no-nonsense shop here. Recommended by my independent auto repair facility, I have now been here two times. Expedient, found the problem in minutes and with an immediate quote, time for product to arrive and actually completing the work, this place literally is hands down amazing and earns my recommendation. This business gets to the point and ID'd a normal deficiency on my Altima that occurs over 100-150K, repaired it in less than 15 minutes. A second time, two years later, ID'd with no kidding a STETHOSCOPE, a crack in my exhaust manifold??! I was getting noxious fumes in the cabin of the car when at idle and through the venting system. I almost doubted them... Glad I didn't. Price was fair, time to repair was on point and no "We had a problem..." issues. Will never use another facility while in the Tucson area, they're THAT d@mn good!KUDOS to Exhaust Works!!

Great Staff. Did great work and didn't charge me a fortune. Very happy with the work that was done on my corvette.Staff is extremely knowledgeable and more than willing to answer any questions that you may have.

Highly recommended. Not only by me, but by a majority of repair shops in town. My car was sounding like a Harley, and I made an appointment - brought it in to them and they had me out of there in an hour.The waiting area is NOT air conditioned, so I wouldn't recommend waiting there for more than an hour in the summer months.

I highly recommend Exhaust Works. Mike and Steve took care of me. The Chevrolet dealership told me that the exhaust manifold was cracked. I brought my HHR here for a second opinion and they found the actual problem upon a free inspection. They found and explained what happened to cause it with a walk through pointing out the discrepancies. I've known people (Family and Friends) to come here and be pleased but I've never needed their services. Now that I have required their service, I must disagree with anyone that gives Exhaust Works a bad rating. I had a great experience. Saved a lot of money too.

I had some flowmaster 44s put on my charger right after I bought it, figuring that I bought a sports car, it may as well sound like one. I called and talked with Mike, explaining my concerns about getting a muffler installed, i.e. The car sounding whiny instead of throaty. He assured me that he had the fix I was looking for. I asked when his soonest appointment was, and he told me later that day! Brought the car in and by dinner time, was enjoying my new exhaust.Countless people have commented on how nice the exhaust sounds, and it is music to my ears. It makes it sound like an old muscle car, which I absolutely love.His prices are very affordable, and service was great.

I wish I was able to give them no stars I got a muffler delete, and I've been sitting here for five hours, watching the workers take lunch breaks, smoke breaks, and also leave the shop entirely while working on my vehicle. When I notified the owner of the establishment he told me when I get my own business I can run it the way that I want. Being very rude, telling me to get out of his face I don't want to argue and him telling me he will stop the job while incomplete and I will have to pay him and leave. This was the worst experience of my life it's dirty. I WOULDN'T GO BACK HERE EVEN IF MY CAR WAS GOING TO BLOW UP.

Was told to come back in an hour. I did and was told to have a seat in the waiting room. There were 2 people waiting and said they had been there for a couple of hours. The "waiting room" was a couple of hard chairs in the middle of the shop where the temperature was the same as outdoors - around 45 degrees. Don't waste your time!

bad business . dont go there they give you different price . once u get done they charge you higher than what they told you .
