Do not trust these people with your healthcare. Do not trust them with anything. My physician's last day was June 29, and the letter they mailed to inform of this me was postmarked July 6. I had my next appointment scheduled for the 14th. Their idea of continuity of care is laughable. They included the business number at the nonprofit where my doctor was supposedly going to start work. I called there--again, this is a nonprofit community service agency so it isn't like I'll get to see this physician anymore--and they had no idea when he was supposed to start. They literally had no idea when he'd turn up. I spoke to two different people to confirm this. Apparently they had been swamped with calls from his abandoned patients and had no idea what was going on. The other "resources" included in the letter were directions to go to psychologytoday.com and search for a new provider, plus the numbers for Banner Health and a faith-based healthcare provider. So yeah, their continuity of care plan was "go find another doctor." At least they promised to refill my medication and forward my files along. Thank goodness for small favors. I mean, I hope they do this. Finally, here's the cherry on top: They didn't even reset their own appointment reminders, so I STILL got a text reminder to come in for my appointment. Having an interruption in care is always hard. Having it bungled by people unable to meet even the basic requirements to do so is a disaster. This was just awful, and I urge you to learn from my experience and avoid these people at all costs.

I just went through a cancer scare and what this office did was awful every step of the way.1. I had an irregularity and I needed a mammogram, especially because of family history. I needed a referral because I am under 40. This was my first mammogram. Escalera did not respond to a request from Radiology Ltd for a referral. I had to call three times and I had to call Radiology Ltd to confirm the referral had gone through.2. The mammogram was scheduled for April 28. I called Escalera for a follow-up to go over the results with my PCP, Dr. Moher. They couldn't get me in until Monday, May 10 even though the appointment would only be 15 MINUTES and I got the mammogram results the same day and there was an irregularity.3. When I had that call with Dr. Moher, scheduled for 6:45AM because that was the latest time available, the call was 15 minutes and HE HAD NOT REVIEWED THE MAMMOGRAM RESULTS even though it is why I had scheduled the appointment and I had been clear about that on the phone when I scheduled the appointment. In the same call, I asked for a referral to get the whooping cough vaccine at CVS (to see a friend with a newborn) + they called in AN OLD ALLERGY PRESCRIPTION instead and they called it in to a pharmacy that I no longer go to. I had called the office twice in the past to update my pharmacy.4. When I went in for a biopsy with Radiology Ltd, I requested that the results be sent to me specifically because I didn't think my PCP's office would call me with the results. They were very comforting and tried to assure me the PCP would definitely call. THIS OFFICE DID NOT CALL ME. I got the biopsy results in the mail TODAY and got the biopsy results via email on Wednesday. It is now SUNDAY and no one from the office called me at all. Please please please save yourselves the neglect this office showed me and do not go here

I found this place to have a general lack of customer service every step along the way. There was no followup throughout my experience. I felt rushed, wasn't allowed to email staff, was pressured to pay for an additional appointment, and never even met the doctor. Sadly, if I wasn't on top of them I would've been completely ignored. I contacted the office to make an appointment. Because of COVID I asked for a remote appointment. They don't offer video conferences, which was disappointing, but I agreed to a phone call appointment. Because I had something I wanted looked at I emailed pictures. The person I had the appointment never received them. I then scheduled an in-person appointment to have bloodwork done.In the meantime, I emailed the pictures again. I wasn't allowed to contact the nurse directly and so was forced to use the main info@ email address, which seemingly nobody maintains. I've sent several messages there usually without receiving a response. The nurse's assistant sent me an email from an email address that ended in @escalerahealth but she insisted that that was her personal email address and that I should not use it. I suggested that maybe she had her mail forwarded and assured her that I did not have her personal email address. It took another week before the nurse saw my pictures and three more weeks after that to get the prescription to the pharmacy. They asked for the pharmacy address 3-4 times. I just kept asking different staff members to send the prescription over until I found someone who actually did what they promised they would. I had the bloodwork scheduled but wanted to know what a few of the tests were for. They couldn't tell me or they wouldn't tell me. I was told to schedule another appointment if I had questions. So I had to look up the medical abbreviations and try to figure it out. I got most of them, but there were still a few abbreviations I couldn't solve. I asked them to remove one test and add another. As with the prescription it took 3-4 attempts to get it done. The day I had the blood drawn it was still wrong on their order form. When I got the results, not surprisingly there was still a test missing (though the one I requested to be added was indeed added). Speaking of the day that I got the blood drawn, when I arrived they had no record of my having an appointment. Ironically for some reason though there was an opening at the time I had scheduled, so they agreed to see me. Finally, I had my appointment to review the blood test which was rushed and gave me the impression that the nurse wasn't fully engaged. I felt like she had better places to be. After less than twenty minutes she even said that she needed to get going. I assumed my appointment would be for at least 30 minutes. Maybe I shouldn't have assumed. Also as mentioned at the beginning, I never met the doctor. Everything was a hassle. The office could've been cleaner and I was surprised when I went into the examination room and they failed to even close the door. I'm not saying that there aren't good people at Escalera. I'm sure there are, but my experience was anything but a positive one. Needless to say, I will never be back.

The front office is a mess!! The people are friendly when you walk in but trying to get someone to answer the phone is impossible!! I was on hold for almost an hour and a recording came on at 11:59 stating I had to leave a message. Apparently they go to lunch at noon and it's just too bad for you if you were on hold! Another thing that is a miracle is getting your prescriptions sent to the pharmacy, they say they do but they don't and they don't return phone calls!! You would have better luck driving to their office. By the way they now operate as Integrity Health and Wellness. I think the office manager needs to resign as he obviously cannot run an office or hire someone to answer phones!!

I had been a patient of Dr Mohrs for over 20 years and have followed him Rose and his staff from over at Carondolet behind St Josephs to Wrightstown to Broadway to Park to Wilmont in fact everywhere . Once again he left the facility and well I know I was not notified. When found out attempted to get set up with him and was told not accepting new patients I told them I am not a new patient they said well here you are.Ever since the move to the one by TMC off of wilmont and Rose left office has been BS. They are even charging my son for a bill that he never recieved services for and I proved it but they put it on his credit history and keep trying to collect. They dont verify who you are nothing. I guess its probably best I do get another doctor since all have left Dr Mohr had to be a reason right

All the negative reviews are true. Without going into details, beware. I can't say all of it, they'll know who I am and probably retaliate.

My doctor left in January. Had appointment with Vanessa in February in hopes to establish care with her. Vanessa did no labs, no images, no diagnostic studies at all. Vanessa did not listen to my heart or lungs or examine me in anyway.Vanessa ignored my multiple complaints about not being able to breath during my appointment. She did tell me though Escalera would no longer be providing pain management. She said she has the results from my hand X-rays. They prove I'm fine. Funny cause we were looking at my thumbs. And no, they don't prove I am fine. They just prove I don't have arthritis. Which we knew but we were checking anyway to be sure. Which is all in my chart. I have carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists. I have considerable thumb pain. As it was all initiated by the provider who left before you. She said, well what's the reason for your pain anyway. It's just your thumbs. Why didn't you read my chart Vanessa? I told her I had chronic pain syndrome. She said So, that's not fibromyalgia. Umm, I don't even know what to say to this. Guess only fibromyalgia pain is real pain. Wonder what the pain in chronic PIAN syndrome really stands for then? Huh? So since it seemed to me she didn't believe in treating invisible illnesses except fibromyalgia I maybe should list some of the things she can see. So I told her about my birth defects to both feet. She then let me know I should consider a psychological component when I was talking about the pain from them. It's unclear if she was implying my pain was psychological or if she was trying to imply I don't have birth defects. It doesn't even matter at this point either suggestion is laughable. She didn't even look at my feet. How can she sit there and talk about how she's thinking it's all in my head. Without so much as running a single test in less than five minutes. Tell me you don't want to work without telling me you don't want to work. Huh?Thanks for the gaslighting Escalera. I'll let you know when I publish my book, Escalera and it's provider's are highly featured! Your website says you still provide pain management. Guess that's only for patients with fibromyalgia. Right? You might want to update that. People might come to you for help and all. Like I did.Worst part of this whole experience. Pain management wasn't even on my list of things to discuss that day. I wanted to talk about why I couldn't catch my breath. I had medications that needed refills. Still do. I had referrals I needed. Still do. I had paperwork from my disability lawyer needed filled out. I wish I never set foot inside your building.

Just got a surprising notice...pretty much effective immediately I will be discontinued on my long-term pain medications. Escalera says they will not be doing pain management anymore. I hope you recognize how upsetting this is to me, and probably anyone else that trusted you to manage our medications and chronic pain. It is hard enough to get into a doctor's office within a reasonable timeframe. Now you are giving me 30 days to find a doctor willing to continue my meds, go through my entire history again, see if I can even get in within that timeframe (UNLIKELY), with no wiggle room...for someone who has debilitating pain and had this treatment plan for 4 years to now be left by myself to figure it out with essentially no warning is not only stressful but dangerous. 30 days is NOT a lot of time to figure this out or even be accepted somewhere. If I go into withdrawal or cannot function because my pain is not being managed, that is absurd. You said I can still come to you as a patient...why would I? You just disrupted my life, with no warning, no reasoning, and left me hanging to figure this out quickly. You should know the community and resources, this will not be easy to navigate. I will not be returning...people--read the reviews. Looks like many of us have been left by the wayside. You should really change your website, mission statement, and advertising as this clinic is not what they portray it to be:Straight from your website...practice what you preach!Pain ManagementEscalera offers services for patients struggling with Chronic Pain to help alleviate persistent and potentially debilitating issues. I have been going here for two years. I have cancer and I am a chronic pain patient. This past year they have changed my doctors and PA there every two months. I never know who I am going to see. They been treating my chronic pain for two years and out of nowhere told me they are not doing pain management anymore with very little time to get another provider. Trying to get them to send a referral to another pain management provider is almost impossible. If you decide to go there anyways. You do not want to see Vanessa Aulet . She is the worse one there. Has no idea what she is doing at all. She does not read her patients charts before she sees them. You literally have to tell her every time you see her what your illnesses are that she diagnose you with in the first place. Very unprofessional. I was going her twice a month for two years. I will be finding a new primary doctor and facility. Escalera just moved their entire doctor office to Tucson Blvd and did not notify me to or give me their new address. Went to their old location and had to call them several times before I could get someone to answer the phone and tell me. They have change so much in the last six months. There practice is more focused on mental health and not family practice. I do not recommend this place. They don't deserve even a one star review.
