Encore Tucson

Staff is amazing they are kind and very attentive and were very good. The venue itself feels like an underground cage match. Minimal lights only one smoke machine for a high area. We went for midget wrestling for past few years and this was the first at encore for us. No lights were shined on the stage. Can't even see the stage if you are short (5"1'). It was a pretty bad performance of all the times we went and just very unorganized. Was supposed to start at 7 didn't until after 8. The bathrooms were very gross. It's cash only but there's only one ATM and no where on advertising says cash only. Because they did all ages. Very song was cut off at the best part and just some of the worst performances/ show put together. Plenty of parking and good staff was only highlight. We left during intermission it was that bad.

Encore is my absolute favorite venue in Tucson. I love the variety of music and the stage shows. The sound and lighting takes me back in time (oops, I'm showing my age). My daughter used to take pictures there. I am a photographer as well, and now that she is a fully grown woman I can finally go to the other side of the stage or places I think would be perfect. I can't wait to come back and visit.

As a first timer at Encore, I was nervous about the accommodations for my scooter. Handicap parking was right by the door. Once the doors opened and the line began to move, a worker came and pulled us out of line and walked us right in! I was amazed! After getting in, we saw they had an ADA section right by the stage. They brought my wife a chair so she could sit with me.During the shows, people would cut under the rope sectioning off our area and the workers immediately told them to stop. I was checked in with to make sure we were good. At the end, we were escorted out thru the crowd.They are cash only bar and the atm went down briefly but was fixed. I cannot wait to go back

Really not sure why this place gets bad reviews. Went on 1/19 for Zakk Sabbath. Great service from the 4 bartenders despite it being a packed house. Heavy pours and great attitudes. The door and security were super nice and great at weeding out the 'unsavories' who can't be civilized or hold their liquor. All speakers worked and were very loud. It was not hot. We got a table in VIP for reasonable price. Sadly VIP is all the way against the back wall, the furthest from the stage and there was no one keeping the general populace from standing in our area or trying to steal peoples seats when they walked away. I felt like I had to guard my husband's chair everytime he went to the bar or the restroom. That however, is more of a reflection on rude people and not the venue. Worst thing I can say is that the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. Mid evening, I just held it, as none of the stalls were being cleaned and were filled with used tampons and feces and completely stopped up. All and all, a very good experience.

I enjoy going to this place to take pictures. I love the variety of the bands that come to Encore. I can't wait to come back. See you soon.

I hope people start looking at reviews before purchasing tickets. No AC and it's the summer time. The entire time they had one fan going. The LEAST they could do is hand out water.

Went to this venue for the first time ever to see an acoustic show. Upon our arrival we were able to get in pretty quickly despite the venue having trouble scanning in our tickets with their cell phones. After getting inside, we learned the bar was cash only. There was only one ATM and the line to get cash was horrible. Thankfully we arrived 1.5 hours early so this wasn't an issue for us. Another high point was that the prices for beer and water were reasonable. The most unfortunate thing was that it was SO HOT my clothes were literally soaked through with sweat!!! There were large industrial fans in the venue that were not turned on. Staff claims plugging in the fans would blow a breaker so there was supposedly nothing that could be done for their guests in misery. I will definitely think twice before choosing this venue anytime outside of the dead of winter.

Randy needs to turn on the damn air and fans that are sitting either side of the stage that haven't been on all night. Here for Cody Jinks currently. All cash venue that puts a $100 max on atm withdrawals. Did I mention there's 1 ATM? Unreal how f$@#&ing hot it is in here. Even Pearl on stage is dying of the heat. What a joke

No air circulation in half of the venue (there is no a/c apparently and a few fans in attendance) and the worst sound engineering I have seen locally bar none. Cash only and just one ATM with high fees and a $100 limit. A bottle of the cheapest purified water is $3. Kept us waiting outside 50 mins after the doors were supposed to open and the first band did not start for another 45 mins after. They tried to cancel at least one of the local bands that was opening up - these bands have to sell tickets in advance in order to play there. So yeah, thanks for the money and now GTFO because we cant manage the business properly? This place is to be avoided. We left before the headliners.

Worst venue ever! No air at all at an over sold concert. To top it off, the speakers don't work properly. Such a miserable experience!
