Emblem Hospice - Tucson

Love all the people who works for them. Jeff is the nurse for my dad and he is just wonderful! Jamie who comes and washes my dad and is very sweet and caring. The whole staff is amazing

On May 16th, when I transferred my husband from a skilled nursing facility to a care home I placed him on Emblem Hospice care. We did not know he had less than two months to live. The staff at Emblem provided exceptional care and support to both of us!!! Dr. Khouie, Brittany and Jaime (CNA's), Whitney and Laura (RN's), Dr. Rae Casteel (Chaplain), and Kyra (social worker) were extremely caring, supportive and attentive to our needs!!! Following my husband's death I received a call from Kathie Oxford an Aftercare Estate Specialist. She provided information and specific details on what I needed to do with his death certificate. She discussed everything with me on the phone and provided an email with links to resources. I also received a sympathy card in the mail with signatures from some of the caregivers. I would highly recommend this hospice agency when your loved one requires these services. The Emblem Hospice Team went above and beyond with keeping in touch with me to ensure we were providing the best care to my husband!!!

When you are reviewing Hospice, it is difficult to get excited when crafting a review. I would be remiss, however, if I did not share my recent 2 week experience with Emblem with others who may one day need exceptional care for a loved one.It was determined quickly, upon a move to Sierra Del Sol Memory Care, that my Mom needed supplemental hospice care. Joanne from Emblem happened to be at this community while I was talking to the Wellness Director, so she connected the two of us. From the moment I first talked to Joanne, until the moment my Mom passed (2 weeks), this group provided all of us with the most caring support.Joanne took charge with our family who knew nothing of hospice care, addressing all the details, assigning a team to our Mom and family and really just being there when it mattered most. Every single person we came into contact with; Joanne, Norma, Bob, Kate and Jody were caring, supportive and best in class in roles that take special kinds of people to do. My Mom passed pretty quickly, all things considered, when Emblem thankfully dropped into our lives. My experience with Jody the duty RN, in the last 16 hours of my Moms life, was beyond describable. I almost felt like she was part of my family and cared about my Mom as much as we all did. She in particular, along with the entire team helped us through an incredibly difficult time.
