Update:The perfectly-seasoned shrimp fajitas are back! The salsa is nummy but the chips are very big-bag generic. We have a large local family (20) and, since they don't take reservations (why?) we called 2 days ahead to advise that we would be coming for an early lunch. They had the table all set for us (at least most of us) but we only had one blond waitress who was slow (understandable) and snarky (not understandable).] It took a half hour to start having our orders taken and another 45 min to have them served. We waited another half hour after finishing for our bills to even be processed so that, all in all it was a 2.5 hour lunch. We have been restaurant secret shoppers and have a feel for what to expect . We suggest they staff better and teach the blond some attitude skills. Keep the chef, though!

It's been sometime since we dined here. We met some friends for dinner and our visit was excellent. We were seated quickly and our waitress was at our table within minutes. She took our food orders and was very helpful in making our selections. The restaurant has undergone a makeover and is very nicely decorated. The food is excellent and plentiful. It was delicious! We will be coming back, as will our friends. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

The food was great. Albondigas soup and Verde pork chile. Also enjoyed a small pitcher of Cadillac margaritas. Had a bit if a wait time to get seated, we arrived around 1250p, so it is lunchtime. Never been here. Recommended by a friend. I'd go back. We left with enough for dinner too.

First time at this restaurant, which is in the Green Valley area. I was quickly seated. Staff were all very pleasant. Ambiance had the old Mexico feel. I had a red chili plate was was excellent.

Visiting family in Green Valley and they recommended this local favorite. It has been a few years since we have been here. Service: 4 Stars - We arrived during lunch rush so service was a bit slow but after we were seated, the server was attentive and accommodating on two requests due to dietary restrictions. Ambiance / Seating: 3.5 Stars The restaurant can accommodate about 60 people or so. Booths and tables, and a small cantina were areas to eat. Can get noisy during lunch or dinner rush so may need to avoid those times or you don't like a big crowd.Food: 3 - 4 Stars - We ordered the following:1. Shrimp Ceviche - 3.5 Stars - chopped pre-cooked shrimp2. Bean burrito ( a la carte) - 3 Stars - 3. Tamala and enchilada ( a la carte) - 3.75 Stars - both items had good seasoning and was flavorful4. Shrimp Fajitas w rice and beans - 3.5 Stars - the shrimp wasn't seasoned enough for me but it was great and flavorful for the main person . Lots of veggies. It looked like the shrimp was pre-cooked and was added as an after thought to me. 5. Chimichanga - 3.75 Stars shredded beef w rice and beans - beef was flavorful and nice shredded. Rice was wonderful and beans were decent. 6. Chicken Fajita Salad - chicken was tendered and moist. Salad was large enough that the Wife actually ordered another chicken breast to add to the salad for dinner. - 4 Stars

Had a really nice dinner last night! I love their salsa and they ask if you would like hot, mild or both! Both are great and not super "hot". Great customer service and for those of you who are soda snobs like me.....they have great fountain soda!

It's great to be back! This is our first time in Green Valley in five years and we made a beeline from the Tucson airport to El Rodeo. And it was as good as we remembered. The burrito consisted of homemade flour tortillas. The enchiladas homemade corn tortillas. We are here for a week and will definitely go back.

Still not impressed, but the family like to go here. Had a burrito this time. Just shredded beef wrapped in a flour tortilla with rice and beans next to it. The place has that Catina look and the food comes fairly quickly. Hate how the your clothes smell after eating here, but typical of places with fajita plates. Mexico has some fine food, I didn't find it here.

This is always one of the first stops when I'm in town. Everyone is so nice and so fast! This trip I had the chicken taquitos which were crispy and hot with super moist chicken inside. I also had a ground beef tostada. Both were yummy. Dessert was a margarita on the rocks with salt. Bathroom was clean and well stocked.

Fish Tacos. Do not order the fish tacos as the small pieces of fish are fried to death and have very salted seasoning on them. You wouldn't know you were eating fish. We couldn't eat it as it was so bad. This restaurant also charges you to use a credit card without telling you. This is the cost of doing business and I don't appreciate being charged a fee to use my credit card to pay, as a small business owner myself.
