El Presidio is a cross between visiting your grandma's house and visiting Queen Elizabeth! You are surrounded by kindness, comfort and lovely antiques and you are treated like royalty! Patti took great care of us in her cool and quiet B and B. We started the day with a full breakfast, and getting to know about the property and the city were a wonderful part of the experience. The rooms are clean and spacious and are stocked with anything you could possibly want!

My wife and I were so blessed by the B & B itself, but when more by the hospitality. Patti was so helpful, the courtyard was enchanting, or little personal patio was so inviting and relaxing. The rooms were spacious, we had a lovely bedroom and a separate sitting room. We had booked the Victorian Sure and we weren't disappointed. Patti, thank you for a great time. Sorry for the delay in posting this review. You helped make celebrating our 48th Anniversary truly a great time. One last thing: El Presidio is located within walking distance of great restaurants and shops, some of the best Tucson has to offer!

Such a beautiful, historic B&B!The gardens are so peaceful. Patty, the owner is very friendly, knowledgeable and gracious. I loved hearing about the history of the Presidio. Patty is charming and clearly loves what she does.It was a pleasure to meet her and stay at this lovely B&B.Breakfast was wonderful and beautifully presented. The omelette she made was one of the best I've had in a long time.Do not hesitate to book here. You will love it!I highly recommend both the Desert Museum and the Botanical Gardens during your trip to Tucson.Make sure to visit the Butterfly Pavilion at the Botanical Gardens. A lush hot house filled with orchids and live butterflies from around the World.

My husband, daughter and I spent 2 nights at the historic El Presidio Inn. It's a lovely Bed and Breakfast run by Patty who prepares a full breakfast every morning and is a gracious host. The inner courtyard js a tranquil garden of mature trees providing shade, a trickling fountain and colorful flowers. It's the perfect respite from the heat of the day and a refreshing place to relax. Conveniently located with several great restaurants nearby. Very reasonably priced and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay in the Carriage House. The only downside was noise from the late night trains, but these can be heard at any lodging in the area throughout the downtown area and stopped by 11 pm.

We stayed in the Gate House room for 2 nights over Labor Day weekend in 2014. It was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and I have to say it was pretty perfect. The room was old and outdated but expected based on the pictures from the website. Patti made sure to stock the fridge with soda and water along with some snacks on the counter. She also helped us with picking different activities to do around town and was very knowledgeable about the area. The patio is beautiful and we spent evenings and mornings outside - thankfully, our room's bathroom had an ample supply of mosquito repellent. The area of Tucson near the inn is very lively and easily accessible to downtown, 4th Ave, and the University. The breakfast was so good! She made these delicious gingerbread pancakes that I still dream about! Eggs, potatoes, bacon! So delicious. Patti is an excellent chef and a great host and I highly recommend staying at her inn.

I was fortunate to stay in this lovely and inviting inn in early October. The setting is gorgeous and offers tranquility in the heart of the city. It is located in the historic section of downtown and allows easy access to many lovely shops, cultural sites, museums, and restaurants. But no need to venture off of the property for breakfast, because the fantastic food, lovingky prepared, is awesome. The delightful innkeeper, Patti, asked our preferences and prepared delicious food (beautifully presented) that sustained us for hours, even though we went on strenuous hikes and other adventures each day. And the coffee was great too. My experience at the El Presidio Bed and Breakfast Inn was so restorative and pleasing that I was tempted to stay there instead of exploring Tucson and the surrounding area. The inn was a destination in itself. The rooms were incredibly clean, with comfortable beds and sitting areas. Antique furnishing added charm and class. Snacks and beverages were provided in the rooms and greatly appreciated. A range of toiletries were freely available in the bathroom. Patti also provided maps of the city and impeccable directions. There was free parking as well. The best part of the experience of staying at the El Presidio B & B Inn is the innkeeper, Patti. She is attentive but not intrusive and she is very knowledgeable about the area as well as its history. She is gracious and charming and truly cares about her guests. She makes the experience so much warmer than a stay in a hotel. I cannot say enough good things about this accommodation. You won't be sorry if you book this gem! Plan your trip to Tucson; you will not be disappointed. it is an fascinating city and the many attractions in the surrounding area are enough to keep you busily exploring for days. Be sure to leave some time to hang out at the El Presidio B & B Inn.

We first stayed at this charming inn almost 10 years ago and recently returned for a 4-night stay while at a conference. This superb historic inn is run by owner, Patti Toci, who lovingly restored this property along with her late husband in the late 1970s and early 1980s. She is the consummate hostess, thinking of your every need before you do and prepares a delicious breakfast daily. With its beautiful garden courtyard, free parking, reasonable rates (with sales tax included), and within walking distance to the new Tucson street car and excellent restaurants, why would you want to stay anywhere else?
