El Molinito Restaurant

The food is absolutely delicious, and reasonably priced. Our server was prompt and attentive, and took care of us very well. We can see why this is a mainstay of Tucson.

Have to add a quick update to my El Molinito raves. This is a $7.99 lunch and it was absolutely delicious. Where else can you get a lunch like this for this price?

If you're looking for great Mexican food, I highly recommend El Molinito's. My dinner is based on the Pantano location. The food is excellent and great quality. They have hands-down the best frijoles in Tucson, if not the country. I am a margarita snob and always order top shelf or Cadillac, except for here. Their house margarita is great just as is. The service is always friendly and prompt. The restaurant has an ambiance suitable for families, but also has a bar for those coming solo or wanting to watch the game or for a quick meal. They also have an outdoor patio.

Went here for a graduation celebration. Party of five adults and two kids. Servers were very patient and accommodating to the kids. This restaurant has been around for years and is never disappointing. Always come back.

The food and service has always been consistent and good, we normally get takeout, but occasionally eat in. We recommend this restaurant!

Food is always yummy! We love the enchiladas and ground beef tacos. Can't go wrong with a margarita. The service is always amazing. Especially with kids!!

Hosted a wedding party dinner here and it was a huge hit! The food was delicious and plentiful and service well done. We also love eating here in general, the enchiladas and the cheese crisp are the best!

This was the worst Mexican food ever and I'm including awful out of state places that don't know what they're doing at all. Everything was dry, from the tortillas to both the chicken and the carne asada, to the rice. Presentation was low effort, a lazy iceberg lettuce tossed on a plate. Waiter disappeared for long periods when we needed help even though the restaurant was basically empty. It's like they're depressed or something, no one was trying not even a little bit. Everyone in the restaurant was getting the enchiladas and I know why, smothering that garbage food in sauce and cheese was the only way to possibly improve it. Not a bad enchilada sauce tbh but I can make a better one at home myself for pennies on what it costs there. STOP selling bad food as "fancy". You aren't fancy you're just lazy.
