El Herradero Supermarket

Super clean supermarket and carneceria that has a huge deli case featuring all you favorite Mexican meat cuts. Great little restaurant inside with fantastic albondigas soup, breakfast and much more.

Finally found cocido that I love!!! Will return. Everything we ate was delicious! The food took a little long but was worth it

This place sells rancid meat and piles and piles of green potatoes on a daily basis. Have talked to them but they shrug their shoulders. Don't need to give a PSA about spoiled, outdated meat, but green potatoes contain solanine which is highly toxic and causes nausea, diarrhea, vomiting and other awful maladies. This place does not care about you, the consumer, nor the public. Avoid!

On way to pick up lotion at nearest Dollar store and stumbled across this Supermarket, just when the tummy also began rumbling.Decided to take a peak and wow there's a Cocina and large spacious dining booths with bar seating for a quick bite, perfect! Carne Asada Torta 6/10 tasted just like a cheeseburger... sans pintos, What no beans? though a smattering of shredded lettuce and sprinkling of fine chopped tomatoes to round out a between the bun experience. Came with a picked carrot and jalapeno on side. Ask for the salsa, the red is very hot so Imma asking for mild next time haha. With a large menu including burros breakfast tacos would definitely try several times as the Torta didn't quite hit it for me, needed more toppings. Mr Clean would be smilin' at the cleanliness level, from the eating area to produce section and meat counter. Smaller supermarket that has everything you need including a cafe to fill those hunger pangs. Another reason not not go shopping when you are hungry... Or maybe it is?!! haha :D

I just want to say that this is an unexpected surprise!The shopping center at Flowing Wells and Prince is not the best, meaning it would be a place I would pass up. I went there when I was getting a haircut close by. It is amazingly clean and has an incredible meat counter. There's a lot of Mexican food and Jamaica flowers. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have prepared salsas and great tortillas. They also have a restaurant that pumps out amazing looking food. I have not eaten there yet, but it's always busy. I go about every 2 weeks.

This is a restaurant in the back of El Herradero Carniceria, a Mexican grocery store. I had a 16-ounce champurrado ($3.75) and a Chile Relleno Burro Jr. ($6.99). Good prices on both. The champurrado is a hot chocolate drink thickened with corn starch. It was just OK. The burro was excellent. The service people are bilingual. There's no table service; you order at the counter and they call your number like at a fast-food joint. There was a fairly long line to place an order at lunchtime, but it went fast.

The Ladies at the kitchen are always on point. The food and service are exceptional. The only thing to keep in mind is the lunch rush. They get busy.

So I stopped for my usual 2 dozen tortillas to take back to California. But first I ordered a "caramelo" from the in-store kitchen. this was supposedly a "small" one, but it came as two large tortillas with beans, cheese and asada in between and griddled so every thing was melted together. Delicious and I could only eat a half there. A great deal at $6.99

Great Variety of delicious foods, nice baked goods and butcher shop. Helpful employees.
