The rating shouldn't be this low. A 1 star rating from 2 years ago wasn't a customer, but a person mad about a situation. The place is good and the service was friendly. This strikes me as a family run place that's been around for a bit. So the bad, the parking lot was in bad shape, the place is older, and my tortilla chips were a little too stale. The good, they had red menudo that was tasty. The texture of the tripe wasn't as firm as I'm used to, but that's OK. The service was fast and friendly. Good Mexican place.

Get the 3 burrito bag. They are tasty and easy. It's a small establishment. Don't be a snob when you go and you will enjoy your experience.

Very good time here for lunch. Brought out of state family here to get some good Arizona food. Chips and salsa were very good, a little wait for refilled chip bowl for party of 4. Drinks c az me fast and appetizers were good. Meals came out very hot and fresh....plates were full. All our entrees tasted amazing. We all left very satisfied. Good food and a very reasonable price.

My most favorite place to eat tortilla soup and obvious favorite to many since I saw several eating as well. Their tacos (we had birria & chicken) were filled with flavor and melted in our mouth. Customer service was on point and respectful. Highly recommend!

Not so much a tortilla factory anymore but an authentic home style Mexican restaurant. Don't be fooled by the exterior. Living nearby I'd always pass El Doradito (as its actually called) because I thought it looked crummy. Heck even the inside is odd. But get passed all that and take a look at the menu. They have everything from mariscos to chimicangas to menudo! I am partial to the caldo de queso seeing that I looooove anything with insane amounts of cheese. Its basically cheese and potato soup but its so good! A comfort food! The caldo de queso at Doradito is very much like the sopa my nana and my mom make. In my book, that means it's good!If you don't know what to order and are overwhelmed by your choices try to go to Doradito at lunch time. They have a great lunch buffet (for about $7) that includes a drink. You can sample some of the dishes on the menu like enchiladas, chicken mole, or a rotation of other dished and soups. The buffet changes daily. I do love eating at Doradito even though I feel my arteries clogging with goodness every time I leave it!

My grandma has been going to this restaurant every Sunday since before I can remember. I've gone twice as an adult and have absolutely loved it.The first time I went was with my grandma for breakfast. I ordered the chorizo con juevos and it was made perfectly. Their refried beans are delicious! The only issue I had with my first visit is that the servers, who all know my grandma, would only speak to her and only in Spanish. I was unsure whether or not I'd be able to communicate easily if I were ever to come back on my own.Well, I tried it anyway. A couple weeks later I went with a friend. It was much busier (Rodeo Parade) I ordered the same meal, in English, to a waitress who spoke it perfectly. Despite the overcrowding, the service was quick, the food quality was un-compromised, and both my friend and I really enjoyed ourselves. Our bill came out to $11.Apart from the visit, my grandma often brings food home on Sundays and all of it has been excellent. I can't remember exactly what she's brought home because she never remembers what she ordered, but I do know that my family won't get menudo from anywhere else. The tortillas are great, too! I fully intend to go back for the lunch buffet soon.

You gotta order the Menudo Blanco, mix in some hot sauce and a large glass of Horchata...you'll go from Zero to GREATNESS in seconds!! Give it a shot, you won't regret it! :)Found this place by accident when leaving Tucson with a hangover this past weekend but it was one of the Greatest Foodie Discoveries since I've been here in Arizona. (I know, I know this is just the tip of the iceberg)

This restaurant has excellent and authentic Mexican food, in a low-key atmosphere. We usually get chile rellenos, because it's hard to find good ones anywhere else, and we're never disappointed. There is also a good selection of Mexican sodas. The staff are friendly and prompt. Most patrons are Spanish-speaking, but we speak English and are made to feel at ease. It's a bit of a drive, but always worth it.
