El Cisne Mexican Restaurant

I haven't been here in 5 years so it was a good experience. We were a group of 8, separate checks. They do an auto tip of 20 pct. My meal was forgotten and I had to ask. No problem, others ate slow. We might be back. It was nicer than I remembered.

We love the ambience and the service at El Cisne. Our waiter and support staff were excellent! My husband started with the guacamole, $6 to go with his chips and then a cup of tortilla soup $6 really good and larger than expectations. I had the El Cisne house salad $10.with cranberry and pecans. Then as his main course, my husband really enjoyed the Rillito Relleno with a chili relleno, chicken enchilada, and birria taco $23 which came with rice and beans. I has the Seven Seas Seafood soup $32 which had a fair amount of seafood from baby octopus, calamari, shrimp and mussels. The soup was OK, but kind of disappointing. The broth was watery and not very rich or flavorful. Doesn't mean we won't go back again. Just means I wouldn't order the soup again.

I just ate lunch at El Cisne. The food was good. FYI the lunch prices are actually $2 more than what was listed on their website. I should have mentioned is to management....hopefully they will look at this review.

My husband and I tried to have lunch today and we were completely ignored. The person whom seated us walked pass our table and took orders for tables that came in after us. We waited and waited. No one came to our table - not even to offer a drink of water! The only person who did there job was the busboy. He gave us chips and salsa. We got up and walked out while everyone else was enjoying their meal. Never again.

Love this place. Amazing Carne Seca, highly recommend. Fast service and great food!! Order this for lunch at work and they always get it right!!! If you're looking for great Carne Seca, look no further!

Very good. Yummy enchiladas. I had a shrimp enchilada and my wife had a pulled beef one. Sauces were delicious. Lots of free chips and awesome salsa. We're from NY and have some good Mexican restaurants there, but this was as good or better than the best of them.

Service, ambiance and music 4-5 but food brings the rating down. With so many Mexican restaurants from which to choose the food the Sat night we were there was lackluster. The fish was dry and overcooked, even had a fishy taste, rice was luke warm. We chose nit to bring attention to it, but we will not be returning.

Fish was under cooked, salsa tasted like is was from a can, chips were stale. Overall a very poor experience. Not worth a second chance.
