El Checo Mexican Food

One of the better food trucks we've visited. They have limited hours so be sure to check ahead to ensure they're there. Fresh food, quick service and great prices. Plan on eating outdoors as there is only tables / chairs and they are limited during rush hour. Their tacos and Sonoran dogs are amazing and will keep you coming back. This place is a hit with the local work crews around town so you'll likely see a big group of them around lunch time. They know good food! Give this place a try next time you're in the area.

As of today's post I am going to say that El Checo Mexican food cart has the best red chili burrito in Tucson Green Valley Sahurita . There used to be others in Tucson but after Covid everything went South. This place might be a little far but it's a nice drive the burrito seven dollars and the other food is excellent as well I absolutely guarantee positively tell you that you will enjoy your meal. Love this place. They only take cash FYI

We try to visit here anytime we have guests from the north who want to experience genuine Mexican food and hospitality. It is not fancy. You need to pay cash. And you'll dine at one of the picnic tables or in your car. And you will have a delicious lunch that will bring you back again and again.

Red chili burro was very good, the Checo torta was amazing and huge! Get this torta. This place is cash only so plan accordingly. There are tables there, but if the generator is too much drive a short distance (within the commercial area) to the picnic tables in the park in front of the Fico commercial building - "for visitors only!"Service was quick and friendly. Apple Maps had a weird location, Google maps got it right (as of May 2023)

First time in the area and was told to try a Sonoran hot dog. Found this truck and good reviews via Yelp.The truck is in a parking lot close to the street with a couple shaded tables and chairs. They offer a couple different things so you might need some time deciding. The lady was helpful, took my order/money and the hot dog was ready in about five minutes. The hot dogs bun was fresh and buttery, hot dog was the right tenderness, and beans, tomatoes, onion and avocado were fresh. It was well worth the couple dollars. Good lunch stop!

The tortilla this place makes are delicious! I've visited this place twice now and the food is always great. I'm a plantbased eater and picked the veggie burro with no cheese. My wife gets the loaded quesadilla with steak. You've also got to top off your order with their Mexican soda.

Drop what you are doing and go get yourself a Sonoran dog. They are the best in AZ. The tacos are tasty as well. The prices are great, can't beat a $3 Sonoran dog. The only drawback is they do not take cards or ApplePay, so bring cash.

Extraordinary Mexican food made to order. Cheapest and best Sonoran Dogs to be found anywhere.Sweet people providing great food at very reasonable prices (even though they just recentlyhad an increase).I highly recommend this establishment and will continue to include them in my regular lunch or(occasional) dinner rounds.
