Eastside Neighbors Volunteer Program

The Good:What a great idea for a non-profit! The volunteers here help elderly people in the community by doing simple basic things for them: light errands, shopping for them, yard maintenance, or driving them to doctor's appointments or taking them grocery shopping etc.The organization is run by mostly volunteers from the community.The Bad:The office can be somewhat disorganized at times (although for the most part things run very efficiently and the staff does a good job).Some of the office staff can be impatient and come off as rude sometimes. Overall this is a great service to the community and helps many people do things that they aren't able to do on their own anymore.
