Excellent food! We got the curry goat, and it was to die for. We got another dish as well, I can't remember the name, but it was also delicious. Little pricy, but well worth it.

Absolutely delicious!!! We've been driving by their restaurant for years and for some reason we haven't stopped in. But, now we will of course be heading into their brick and mortar! We were lucky to try multiple dishes during a festival from their food truck and everything was all so tasty, especially the tender meats, seasoned perfectly! The plantains were sweet, hot and hit the spot! Our group of friends shared the chicken jerk tacos and stew which was sensational! The service was also great considering they were very busy! While I was waiting in line I was able to watch the amazing process of putting everything together, rice, etc. This is a wonderful family owned business that creates the best Jamaican food around! I've spent time in the Caribbean and I really appreciate the fact we have a place for such delicious food in Tucson! lol

Growing up in Miami, we had Jamaican restaurants all over. I never thought I'd find some of the most delicious curry goat and ackee and salt fish in Tucson of all places! I've you never had Jamaican food, fix that immediately and run to D's Island Grill. - Oxtail Fries: excellent in every sense - Ackee with Salt Fish & Dumplings: a little greasy but so flavorful and cooked to perfection - Curry Goat: fall off the bone perfection- Coco Bread: coconut flavor was a bit more sublime than expected so if you're not a coconut fan, still give this one a try. It's the lightest, fluffiest bread you'll ever taste- Festivals: fried to perfection, not overly sweet and so soo sooo satisfyingService was quick and precise and our to-go box was packed carefully. Cannot wait to be in the area again so we can keep making our way through the menu. Will definitely be back and will bring friends who love ridiculously tasty food!

My wife and I had lunch at D's and had a great time. I've had the goat curry from their food truck at Tucson-Eat Yourself, but this was our first time at their brick and mortar location. There's a great coupon for 50% off an entree after you paying full price for one entree when you check in on the Yelp app. We got the jerk chicken and brown stew chicken lunch special. It came with rice with peas and steamed cabbage/ carrots. Both were delicious. The rice is a nice balance to the savory meat. The staff were super friendly and took time to explain the popular dishes and checked on us multiple times. I'm excited to come back and try the oxtail and red snapper.

What else is there to say? Come in and get some!!! Listen to some reggae music while getting tropical vibes of ambiance on the walls. Family owned and operated all local. Incredible service and you feel welcomed! The food is outstanding. Once again I went to the jerk pork plate. 10/10. The best part of this establishment is the kind hearts behind the counter and the food is consistently delicious and packed with flavor. I have NEVER EVEN HAD a mediocre meal always delicious. Please come try them and see for yourself!

I loved meeting the father of the owner here. But more importantly. The curry goat was excellent I will be coming to this place again. My 97 yo aunt enjoyed her dish also. So it's a 5 star review from me all the way.

I was greeted immediately by a triendly server. The place is a hole in the wall, but the food is great. I'm spoiled by Boston Jamaican food, this rivals them. Curried chicken was good. Big menu

I was very disappointed not to receive a receipt for business purposes. Other than that, the food was decent, but the customer service could use improvement.

Just went there again today. As always the food is delicious and the portions are huge. The menu has new offerings. Rasta Pasta and chicken fingers. My favorites are curry chicken and the plantains. The festivals are a sweet finish to a great meal.
