Drum Lessons with Chip Ritter

I have been wanting to learn to play the drums for a long time but felt very nervous about actually doing it. I've been shopping around a lot and for a good amount of time. Looking to find a place that l'd feel comfortable and that is affordable. After putting in many calls and messages to various places, Drum lesson's with Chip Ritter is the place I decided to go with. I like that he was able to work me in on short notice and work with my work schedule. Lessons are given in a nice, clean, comfortable, learning environment and it's close to home. Another thing I appreciated about how Chip taught my lesson is that he has his drum kit next to the student's drum kit. Being able to see drumming movement along with listening to the drum patterns is very helpful for someone like myself who needs to visualize how the music magic is made. Also, the cost per lesson is right on point with other places. $30 per 30 minute lesson or $25 per 30 minute lesson if you book 4 in advance. (Which is what I'll be doing moving forward.) I feel like I'm getting a steal for sure based off his years of teaching experience and talent. He is patient and it shows that he is a skilled drumming instructor. He has put together a personalized drum lesson for me. I'm extremely excited to begin my drumming journey. I will be scheduling my future drum lessons with Chip Ritter. I feel inspired and ready to learn more. Thank you!

Best instructor in town. 10 yrs ago Chip had my son Zachary as a student and now has my youngest Nathan as a student. Nathan has been with chip for a few years now and has made so much progress. I highly recommend chip for all your drumming needs. Chip is there every step of the way and is always encouraging each student and helping them become amazing drummers!!

I've been doing lessons with Chip for three weeks now and I can say he is one of my favorite teachers yet for any instrument I've played. I've had around 4 other music teachers in my life and he is by far my favorite of them. He is very good at keeping me engaged and always giving me multiple things to work on throughout the week that has already improved my drumming ten fold. I never looked forward to something more in my life then I have for chips lessons every week. If you want to get good at drums here in Tucson I would definitely suggest Chip to be your teacher.

Chip definitely knows what he's doing. I chose to try a variety of different teachers to find one who'd match my style and pace and as a new drummer I needed someone who matches a slower learning curve.For someone who knows music and has some mileage behind drums I believe he'd be top notch.

Chip is the best! You may know him as "the juggling drummer", but he's no one trick pony. That guy can play!

Chip is an awesome drum instructor. My son actually enjoys going to his lessons (which is really saying something) and is learning a lot.
