This place is such a Hidden Gem in Tucson arizona. Located at the absolute end of the east side of Speedway Boulevard nestled and the mountains just next to Saguaro National Monument East. I have Trails for all Specialties and skill sets. It is very often that we see deer but we hike here also when there's Mountain rains flowing there are waterfalls in several locations that are worth trying to get to. The air is so fresh and it's very nice when the clouds linger low and almost feels like you're hiking and the moisture of the clouds. Every time we come here with our family enjoy this place and we definitely recommend it to all! Please note no dogs allowed.

It's March in The Old Pueblo, so no better time to be outside! You can't help but admire the beautiful scenery in our desert. Tons of trail leading off other trails. Everything I saw was very easy and could accommodate beginners. I'll definitely be back soon.

Even though we live pretty close by, this was our first time hiking in this area. There are soooo many trails, that you just can't get bored here. We chose to take Douglas Springs to Garwood Dam (it was roughly 4.5miles in and out), and it was an amazing hike. It was pretty easy, with some steps and a little walking on very loose sand, but otherwise nothing too difficult. There are a couple of spots that seem ok to stop and rest, as they have either large rocks to sit on or fallen trees sturdy enough to sit on. And getting to the dam is super fun! It's cool to see something like that out here, all tucked away. The trail had TONS of horse poop, so watch your step. And of course, bring plenty of water and wear good hiking shoes!

Great hike to bridal falls. 5.7 round miles trip. The waterfall was hardly a trickle. The scenery in the hike was beautiful. The cactus seemed to each have their own personality. The cactus are just staring to produce blooms. Within a week it should be popping with color! Having trouble loading photos. Will try again later.

We took Douglas Springs Trail to Bridal Wreath Falls. The hike didn't take long and is somewhat comparable to Romero Pools. The Falls itself is tucked in a small pocket, so it got crowded quickly. It was very pretty and the sound of the water along the trail was incredibly calming. It was interesting to see the Park Rangers show up and yell at a hiker who was climbing to get to the upper lip of the falls. I'd advise caution if you want to engage in this, as it does appear the rangers will call you out on that crap. The hike back was incredibly leisurely. The hike fluctuated between leisurely grassland to taking long treks up several steps. I'm still out of shape, so I did have to stop a couple times, but overall, this hike isn't particularly difficult. I'd rate it slightly below Romero Pools for reference. No pets allowed. Popular spot, so expect to have to pull off to the side several times to let people go. Parking was a bit of a nightmare, as a long line of people had parked up along speedway. Summary: Moderate/easy hike. Great spot to view the falls. Incredibly popular.

Finally found some water in a hiking trail! We went after a week of rain and the view was amazing. We got there early and parked in a small parking lot at the end of Speedway eastbound. I think it is basically a dead end where u park. We hiked from the trailhead to Bridal Wreath Falls. It took us about 3 hours roundtrip but we did do some running. There are a lot of inclines and horse poop along the trail. When we got to the falls there was no one there. It was like an oasis. The only thing that came out to say hello was a squirrel. I think it smelled the nutty bar we snacked on. I am planning to go back after the next rainfall! Great morning workout!

This trail was very good. I really enjoyed the scenery that changed from desert Saguaro Cacti everywhere to grasslands. The trail was very well marked. It started out as challenging climb then ended with very rewarding sights. The falls where very pretty. The trail was 5.6 miles round trip. The way back was a breeze.

Easily one of the best hikes we have gone on in years. We were not able to park in the small lot, but parked on the street fairly close to the trailhead. The scenery and views are spectacular, and since a lot of rain has fallen this winter, we saw running streams and waterfalls. We also saw a crested saguaro which is rare. The hike was close to five miles, but it was easy. The signage is excellent and the trails are well-kept. We look forward to returning soon.
