So we're in Sanoita to do some wine tasting and thought we'd stop at this alpaca farm first thing in the morning before starting. What a great place to take the kids, and even as adults we enjoyed ourselves as a tour guide was friendly and informative. They have about 40 alpacas on site as well as a few other farm animals. You can tell host enjoy what he was doing was very knowledgeable about everything from feeding, shearing, and turning their wool into products. The tour is only $5, so white reasonably priced. A great way to spend an hour or two. They have a place for the kids to play some Putt-Putt golf. You can find them on harvest house if you want to camp there. They do have a 30 amp plug-in also.

A beautiful little experience! I went here with my family and it was sooo cool. The farm has horses(+ minis), chickens, a pig, but the stars are the alpacas! There were so many of them, they even had a couple babies. We were given such a nice tour, the man(I'm so sorry I don't remember your name king) was SO knowledgeable about alpacas, explained everything I could've asked about the animals--including the history of the species coming into existence, which is truly a wild one. He seems to really appreciate these animals, and was very kind. We got to 'try' to pet the alpacas, because they don't really like petting and will sometimes just walk away, lol. We were shown alpaca fleece being made into yarn from the fiber in its sheared state to the spinning wheel. It was really cool, and so interesting to see the way fibers from animals and plants get processed into thread & yarn. My mom was so impressed by it all, and I truly enjoyed it. I'm glad we got to go.

What a great little place! We stopped by on the off chance and Leroy was so friendly and gave us a look at the alpacas and showed us the process from raw fibre to spun yarn. I even got a pic of me & the alpaca whose yarn I bought! I highly recommend a visit!
