This is long time build up filth.
Filth under display racks on shelving.
Old build-up of filth everywhere
The theme continues
Cleaning does NOT happen here. At all!
Who allows this in a business?
This is not new filth. The smell gives it away.
Old filth
Help yourself. They know it needs cleaning; here you go!
Long-standing filth everywhere. No signs of a daily sweeping much less mopping.
Blatant indication of no cleaning whatsoever.
No signs of any cleaning for a very, very long time.
What an embarrassment. No one seems to notice or care.
Old filth; they have a theme going on. I think there's a dime in there; I'll flip you for it!
Cleaning duties need to be added to someone's checklist.
Cleaning does NOT happen here. At all! See photo from last week. No one so much as sweeps.
This orange slice has been on the floor for over a month. This store is filthy.
Whew! They offer a remedy.
Cleaning does NOT happen here. At all! See photo from last week. No one so much as sweeps. Same filth from last week.
Just now! See my previous photo from a week ago. This orange has been here a very long time.

A typical Dollar Tree store, in that it carries the same items as other locations. I happened to come in here looking for some construction paper and some poster board for use for a door decorating conference.I wasn't disappointed. I found quite a few items to purchase, and went away happy. Not only that, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the shelves fully stocked with items, some of which I might make a return visit to find.

This may be a 1-star store, but the employees were very nice and helpful, and without prompting. Actually, it may be a 0-star store, but the employees did bump them up a star; being as though 1-star is the lowest, they get the bump to 2! The employees deserve a big "Thanks" from management for this redeeming value. On the other hand, they can also be to blame for the neglect in the upkeep that earns them such a low score anyway. Ok, so I am going to go with a 1-star. This was difficult, but the blame lies with the courteous employees as well. I hate leaving one-star. This store is validly "Eek! Methinks not".I went in for my scrub brush that I like. I know every Dollar Tree has them, so I knew this location would have them. Sure enough! I found my favorite scrub brush.I must say, upon entering, the theme is filthy trash. This is not the type that you look around and see how busy it is and know that they are struggling with day-to-day debris. No, this is disgusting, filthy, dirty, build-up of neglect over a long course of time. (See photos). I believe I saw tinsel strewn about in more than one place (from Christmas? To be fair, maybe they sell tinsel year-round?).Yeah, I know! Why would I visit the bathrooms if the main floor was so disgusting?! Well, I wanted a good review, and perhaps maybe that's where they were expending all of the cleaning energy. Perhaps the bathroom was going to be a glowing example of freshness and cleanliness. Sadly, the store theme continues, if not magnified, in the [women's] restroom. This is really pathetic that no one takes note or takes action in this store about the widely blatant filth! People should not be working in such squalor. I won't shop there again, and I am accustomed to the typical Dollar Tree messiness. It's not as if I expect glowing displays of sanitation, but this place should nearly be condemned. Disgusting!

The worse customer service Dollar Tree I have every been to. It is inevitable that every time I come to this particular location there is always one cashier and more than 8 people in line waiting. There is never enough staff, not to mention the store always looks like crap. Definitely contacting corporate today!

I normally love Dollar store but this really knows how to make me angry. Stand in line forever not once but twice someone cuts in front of me. Then the Mgr decides to close the line I am in which now sends me to the back again. My two dollars might not mean much ovilous not to this store or all the money I would spend in the future.Waiting in line is one thing but being treated rudely by the Mgr on duty is another. Do yourself a favor and go the extra mile to not shop at this store.

This one is a hit and miss. Organization... Eh. Interesting objects... Yes! It is fun to rummage through and you cannot complain on the pricing... EVERYTHING'S a dollar. Don't be fooled by other 99 cent stores or Dollar stores, where everything is NOT a dollar. Purchase gift bags, toys, party favors, kitchen utensils, junk food, and even balloons with air!!

Store #2973, 22nd Street and Kolb. December 23, 2015. Busy day, lots of shoppers. Two cashiers open with long lines at each. The cashier is Sallie (sp). I tell her that they need another cashier. She points to the second line and indicates that I can go to that line. I clarify that I mean they need to open a third line. I follow-up by asking twice to speak to the manager. Sallie continues to check customers and ignore my request. She checks my order and I ask again to speak to the manager. She tell me that there are no other cashiers. I state that the issue now is larger because she has completely ignored me and my requests. Sallie calls for the manager (Keith/Ken) who is no more than 20 feet away. I explain my concerns and he states that Sallie did not respond appropriately, because she is supposed to call for back up when the lines get long. He further explains that he has four cashiers in the store, so backup is not a problem. I explain that while I know we are in a "Dollar Store" and that there is not a high level of expectation for customer service, that to plainly just ignore a customer is beyond rude. He apologizes for her behavior. Ho Ho Ho, I hope she loses her temp job in the next couple of days, unless Dollar Tree accepts this kind of customer service.

Lukas needs to find a new job if he can't speak. No hello, doesn't read the total to customers, no thank you NOTHING. Why work in customer service jobs when clearly it's not a good fit.

I purchased a 3/4 gallon container of bleach and used less than 2 cups of it. As far as being able to remove stains, it was completely ineffective. Although I had my purchase receipt to show the store manager, he refused to issue me even a store credit. Dollar Tree expects you to determine if a product does what it claims to do...without your using some of the product?!

This stores management is absolutely unacceptable. I am by no means a regular costumer at this franchise. The few times I've been here over the many years this Dallor Tree has been operated, the experiences have been (for lack of a better word) crappy for one reason or another. At one visit there was spilled soda drying on the floor where costumers were trying to purchase items, with not any employee of about 5 doing anything about it for almost 45 minutes. Every visit there's merchandise on the floor in aisles they dont even belong in. There is no such thing as customer service if your looking for an item at this location. Its very lucky that more than one register is open at a time, and the only time this dose happen are when the store gets flooded by teenagers when school is let out or when seniors at the high school next door have a lunch break. (at least in my experience here) At my last experience here I was spending the day with my mentally disabled mother and i was accused of stealing. I had a few items i wanted to purchase such as coffee filters and a candy bar. I was growing impatient because i felt i was there to long, the one line that was open was to huge and my mother was still shopping. I decided to put the chocolate back at another rack of candy i was closest too because at this point i just wasn't in the mood to eat any candy i just wasted to find my mother get in line and go home. Withen a few seconds i had found my mom and she didnt have her purse. Well she had lost it in the store somehow. Like i said earlier shopping here is never pleasant and my temper was already then. I said forget it and put the other two items i had on up and left my mother to find ot on her own. I decided to walk to the GameStop next door to clear my head. I am not a gamer nor did i own a console at the time but in comparison GameStop is much less hectic place. So I began to browse around for three or so minutes when I'm grabbed by my shoulder from behind and jerked by this tall lanky man with greasy, unkept, balding but long grey haird man in a green Dollar Tree T-shirt. He asked me where i put the candy. At this very moment im not sure whats going on, i have no idea who the hell this man is and i dont realize or even notice the logo on he's shirt. I asked him "what the hell are you talking about?" He starts to yell and make a scene in front of the other customers and GameStop employees telling me "I found the other items you dropped. Where did you put the candy." I told him I'd show him where if he would stop yelling. He told me "No its okay dont come back in MY STORE AGAIN. As he started power walking out of the store i followed him asking him to cheack any surveillance or pleas let me show him where. Now i didbt even know where i had put the item do to being humiliated, accused of stealing while i was browsing at another store entirely. He told me that he didnt have to check anything. He gave me this response two times before he told me that "he wasn't accusing me of anything but if he was wrong then he was sorry. As he smoked his cigarette right at the door of "his store" while "his" customers where going in and out, including children. I began to try to explain to him that going into another establishment accusing someone of stealing with out any evidence was not only unethical, disrespectful and a down and out shitty thing to do. But i got as far as "but Sir, you told me not to come back in your store" when he cut me off once again in this conversation to tell me that he would give ME another another chance. At this point i knew this man was ether on drugs of just severely socially inept and there was no amout of evinced like showing whete the chocolate was or any amount of explanation could convince this older gentleman that he was mastaken and should except it and as an adult he handled the situation like a child. Needless to say my mother found her purse. I am a student at the University Of Arizona that graduated High School with a 4.0 average. I have never stolen a thing in my life and have always done my best to stay away from trouble. I am under the belief that he targeted me out because of color of my skin and just assumed i stole when he wasn't paying attention or something witch in itself is deviating to go through. Ive always lucked out and I've never dealt with this amount of racism in my life. I wish that feeling on no one. I wouldn't suggest doing business here, but you're gonna do what your gonna do.
