Dollar General

This is the closest thing to a 'store' near where I live but I will no longer be coming here. This place is so unsafe, unkept, and just plain dangerous. There is boxes everywhere but there is never anything on the shelves. There is only ever like 2 people working, who don't know what they're doing and I'm pretty sure this place gets robbed daily. Just stay away!!!!

Hands down the retail establishment with the worst pricing practices in Pima county--and that's saying something! Many items are not stocked above the correct price(if there is one). Also, many times I'm charged more at the register than what is indicated on the shelf. When I mention it to an employee, they say "it's the merchandisers fault". But isn't the store responsible for their pricing? Such a joke. And it happens at ALL their locations. Maybe if enough people complain to the State Attorney General, changes will be made. If the store won't make changes, then at some point, it becomes deliberate fraud and somebody needs to be charged criminally.

Overall, this is one of the worst Dollar General stores I've been in. It's such a mess majority of the time, usually only one person at the register and a line all through the store. Not worth going into, except my most recent visit this past Friday. They have hired a new girl, I can't remember her name, but she was actually very helpful and super nice, unlike 90% of the other employees. I do hope she sticks around, but I think she might be a smart person and therefore probably won't be there very long and yes we'll be back to the same rude jerks that work there. So, if you want good service get there before the new girl leaves. She is the only reason I gave 3 stars, without her it barely deserves one.

I went in to get a few things and as I was paying the young lady at the register checking us out was extremely rude she was Throwing our stuff is in the bag Then threw a bag out as it fell on the other side of the register she didn't say sorry I didn't help us pick up the items in the bag nothing she was extremely rude she was not wearing a name tag so I had my daughter go back in to buy candy to get her name She told my daughter her name was Jeff and also threw her candy at her at that time I went back into the store to speak to a manager the manager Abrin on duty said there was no manager that I would need to call in the morning and talk to a manager on duty that it turns out he was the manager he was also extremely rude kick me out of his store as I was very frustrated with his employee he also declined on giving me her name so whoever this employer was deserves to get fired she is not a very helpful employee she is very rude besides the fact the store was a mess and did organized and very dirty I'm not going back to this store wow worse customer ever they both deserve to be fine There is people out there willing to work and that our friendly as I was walking out they were laughing at the whole situation

If I could give 1 star I would. This store is so, cluttered. The management needs improving. The constantly talks about their workers like their not human. Its totally unacceptable. As being a cashier myself, your mouth do gets dried and you do need to have a drink of water from time to time. Its sad that the young lady was waiting on management to ring up a bottle of water while the manager holds an irrelevant conversation with a friend. I bought a bottle of water and handed it to the cashier. Sometimes, you got to be kind and not push your authority around. The managers here always have an attitude when I come here. I meant if you are going to be hateful to your customers why apply for management. Out of my years coming here, I have only heard 2 cashiers being friendly. Immediately, I knew they were not from Tucson. Sad to say, but I wish they would close the store to at least clean it out or hire more people. These workers can not be the janitor, stocker, and cashiers. Overworked and under paid. They need more friendly workers.

Store is much better! All different employees who actually take their jobs seriously. The store looks like a store. Isles clear and shelves stocked. I'll be shopping here regularly.

If I could I would give this place ZERO stars !!! Dirty, cluttered, unsafe, empty shelves, inept employees!!! The aisles are blocked off with carts full of boxes ALL the time and selves are empty. There's always a mess and thing are hard to find!! In dire need of new management, Do NOT go to this location!!
