The service...amazing! The food was good but honestly a restaurant like this reminds me how important it is to support small local businesses. We had the escargot, veal piccata, chicken Alfredo, and limoncello cake. Don't pass this place up. It's small, intimate, and you won't regret it.

I am so sad and really wanted to like this place. All of the positive reviews inspired me to finally try this place out. It pains me to write a bad review and I really thought about not leaving one at all. We went early on a Saturday and it was an older lady and gentleman working. I believe they may have been the owners. I ordered the Alfredo and my boyfriend ordered the Chicken Parm and as soon as they took our order we heard the microwaves firing up. My boyfriend immediately looked at me worried and I kept trying to stay hopeful that maybe we heard the microwaves going for something else. Well we get the food and it was BAD. The chicken parm was soggy and the marinara had no flavor. The Alfredo tasted off, not creamy and cheesy more watery and lacking flavor with a really odd after taste. The noodles on both dishes were hard at the ends like they were made ahead of time and just reheated but not reheated well. We also ordered cheesy garlic bread which was the best tasting thing but it definitely tasted like grocery store bread. The older couple was so sweet. I'm not sure if they normally have help and maybe were struggling since it was just the two of them but there was only one other table there. I probably should have said something about how awful the food was but I wasn't convinced they would be able to make it any better. We took a couple bites asked for the check and left. I made a mental note to not go back because I kind of feel like I got robbed since it wasn't cheap but I just could not bring myself to complain because I felt too bad. Might have been an off day but I will not be back to figure it out. Just wanted to warn others before you go spend your hard earned money. They are definitely microwaving your food and charging way too much for the microwaved food.

Service was great- Justin knows how to do it. Small venue & thr owner was sitting at a table next to us. Prices are okay. IF you want good Italian food, this isn't the place. Cheap wine that tasted like it had been around a while. Outdated drink list. Tried the calamari starter. Tough, breading didn't stick, cut a calamari steak into strips, ... nice house dressing not vinaigrette either. For mains we did pasta & mussels (~10 wouldn't open), Pollo marsala (couldn't taste marsala but lots of mushrooms), and pasta carbonara. Their marinara was chunky & nothing spectacular. Tiramisu dessert made there & the real deal.

I ordered the cheese ravioli and a side salad for lunch. Didn't receive any silverware or napkins. The side salad was the most pathetic salad I have ever seen and it was drowned in their garlic dressing. I tried two bites before I threw it away. The ravioli has a slightly creamy marinara. It tastes like it came out of a can. It actually tasted just like Chef Boyardee ravioli, only with larger raviolis. I just can't do it. One ravioli eaten and into the trash it goes. And then there was bread. The end of a loaf cut into 4 slices. Not warm, no butter, just hard and dry. So not impressed. I was so excited to have some Italian for lunch and now I feel completely deflated and still hungry.

While out shopping with a friend yesterday, we stopped in for an early dinner. The place was empty except for one table inside, however within about 30 minutes they started filling up. The inside is small, but they do have an outside patio. The furniture on the outside isn't the best....the metal chairs are actually very uncomfortable. Justin was our waiter.....and he was fantastic! Very on top of things if we asked for something, attentive, and friendly. I got the ceasar half salad ($6) and bruschetta ($10). The bruschetta is listed as an appetizer, but I had it served as my main meal. It comes with 5 big pieces. The romaine hearts were fresh in the salad and the cheese was plenty. The bruschetta could have been better. The bread was very fresh, but the tomatoes were just cut and plopped on top.....it would have been better if mixed with some olive oil, salt & pepper. The basil was fresh. My friend had the meat lasagna ($16) which was served with bread and salad. Her review was that it was ok. She wasn't elated over it, but she said it wasn't horrible either. All in all...would I come back here....probably not. The food wasn't that fantastic and there are so many other choices in the area. Thank you!

We looked forward to having dinner at a long established local restaurant that we had never visited previously. LIKES: Local/family owned, not a chain. We like to support local! Owners present and greeted us as we entered. Small but quite comfortable inside. Service was prompt. Justin, the food server worked alone yet managed to be attentive to all. My salad was fine though the other salad was overly drenched in dressing. Remainder of meal could have been better.DISLIKES: Food may be frozen and reheated. Nothing fresh.Mussels were cooked well but it was served in white water possibly used to boil the mussels. None of the delicious sauce usually served with mussels. The mussel water had no seasoning, no flavor, very disappointing.Bread reported as fresh baked tasted stale. Bread became so soggy when dipped in the water from the mussels it could not be eaten. The chicken parmigiana: chicken itself was cooked ok but the sauce was very bland and tasteless.Linguini with garlic: was laden with copious amount of butter and tons of garlic. We wanted so much to like this place as we drove a distance to get there. We now consider this the worst Italian restaurant we every visited and we travel and eat out frequently. Maybe we were there on their bad day for the restaurant but I doubt that. Our first visit did not give reason to return. Things could have been much better. As a local business, I still wish them well.
