I took my 4 month old puppy here for his first grooming appointment and it was the worst choice I've ever made. I made an appointment for 12:30pm and was about 5 minutes early. They took my dog back there right away (I couldn't go inside due to COVID, I'm assuming) and I waited in my car. After an hour passed by I contacted one of the employees and they said my dog pooped on himself after the bath and had to give him another bath (I have no idea why my dog would need a whole other bath for pooping. Btw, he has never pooped to where it's all over his body). Me being me, I said okay and waited longer. Another hour went by (2:30pm) and I received a text from the employee that read, my dog will be ready at 3:30pm and they were only able to give him a trim (not the little mohawk I wanted) because he was active, which was understandable. When I picked up my dog, he looked the same. Tear stains still completely there, still had his fur pretty long, ears didn't look clean, and he had quite a bit of fur from his "trim" all over, he didn't even smell like he just spent 3 hours getting groomed. I don't understand why they would wait to tell me that they were not able to cut his hair how I wanted right before I pick him up. I also don't understand why my puppy would need ANOTHER bath for pooping. I ALSO don't understand why it took 3 hours to bathe and trim a 5 pound puppy. I wish I didn't pay them. I will never go back to them and would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

I have been taking my little Ellie to this groomer for several years now. My dog is a very shy, scared older dog and they always do such a great job with her. The owner is so kind, patient, and loves my little girl! She always cuts her the way I ask and goes above and beyond. She offered to do a temporary color on her ears as a courtesy and Ellie came back cute as ever! Definitely recommend taking your pups to Doggy Stylez! Crystal is so patient and LOVES animals! She will love your dog as if it is her own!

Please DO NOT SCHEDULE with Doggy Stylez located the corner of Cardinal and Los Reales. I contacted Crystal SantaMaria who is the owner of the dog grooming place. I made an appointment with her through messenger for my 3 fur babies. She had a special going on for "Friday Full grooming" (look at the picture for reference) In her post it said "Fur-Do (Hair cut) "I asked Crystal if it included haircut she said yes ( see picture below) So I sent her a $75 non refundable deposit to reserve the spot. Friday morning (9/8/23) @10am my sister took my Pomeranians to their grooming appointment since I was at work. My sister drops them off and the groomer said okay "what will we be doing to your dogs? " Sister says "everything that's on the Ad and the haircut to make it "teddy bear". The groomer asks, "okay trimmed or shaved?" Sister "Noo, not a shave! Trimmed, A haircut like a teddy bear". (Pomeranians should not be shaved because it can damage their hair follicles). So 10min after drop off, the groomer called me. I did not answer since I was at work. She left a voicemail saying that what I wanted for my pups is considered a "trim" not a "haircut".I called right back and I asked her what she means by "the haircut is shave down with clippers?" I explained to her that I did not want my dogs to be shaved and on the AD it says HAIRCUT, never specifying that by "haircut", it means shave down. She then proceeded offering doing a trim but that would be $60+. I said no because that is not what the ad said, I was under the impression that a haircut means a trim just like when you go to a salon to get your hair done, a HAIRCUT is a trim/cut not a SHAVE. Plus, I didn't think a groomer would want to shave a Pomeranian as that's not good for their coat. At this point, I did not trust these people with my dog. I did not want them to do any type of work done to them. I asked if I could get a full refund of my deposit since the Ad was FALSE advertisement. The girl who I spoke with turned out to be the assistant and said "yes we can give you the deposit back let me speak with Crystal since she was the one messaging you". After going back and fourth with Crystal, she REFUSED to give me the full deposit back. As I explained to her that this Ad is false advertisement, I asked for a haircut and according to her, a haircut is to shave down a dog using the clippers. At the end she only gave me a PARTIAL deposit. I was very upset and very frustrated since I had to get off of work that's 45min away from groomer's to go pick up my dogs. I again tried to explain to her that this is not what we agreed on and that the Ad says a haircut, not a shave down with clipper. She still refused to give me my full deposit back. While talking to Crystal, she was very unprofessional; very rude and had a nasty attitude. She even made a comment saying "if you had a license and if you went to school you wouldn't be confused of what a haircut means". So now I'm supposed to go to grooming school to speak groomer? To make things worse, she said that she has dealt with this situation in the past and had cops come. To me, that's proof that I'm not the only one who's had a misconception of what "haircut" on her Ad means. And the cops? That is just a scare tactic because I'm sure she knows I have to go through the courts to get my money back...not worth my time nor money. All I can do is let you ALL KNOW that if you do not want your dog shaved off, the price on the AD is not the price you'll pay.Below is what her definition of a haircut and trim. Again, Pomeranians should not be shaved!
