Jack and Nancy are wonderful, nice, and amazingly talented people. My husband and I used them for our engagement photos and our wedding this past Sunday. For our engagement pictures, they met with us prior to it to show us other shoots to give us ideas for our own. They were open to taking them wherever we wanted. My husband and I were afraid we would be so awkward in these photos but they came out amazing. Nancy and Jack really know how to capture a picture and use the light for the best results. More importantly they know how to make the photos fun.For our wedding, they showed up exactly at 3pm to do detail shots, family pictures, first look pictures and would have done getting ready shots but I declined. In our package, we opted for the photobooth and it did not disappoint. Our guests loved it and I only wish my husband and I had more time during the reception to use it. We just picked up our pictures last night and we can't get over how amazing they look. The added benefit, on top of everything else, to Nancy and Jack being amazing photographers and taking initially amazing photos is they don't need a lot of time to edit the photos. We received both our engagement photos and wedding photos within a week. Their prices are a steal compared to others in the area for the packages they offer and every package includes the digital rights to the photos they give you. I'd recommend them to anyone getting married or wanting family photos done.

My husband is such a camera snob that he is now getting a Ph.D. in it. When it came to our own wedding, we decided that hiring experienced photographers who know the venue well is an absolute priority. Dodson Photography is a vendor with Z-mansion so I booked Nancy & Jack (a husband-wife team!) for my wedding there on May 27, 2012. After talking to them, my husband and I really liked their warm personalities, knowledge of the venue, and approach to wedding photography.Now we are going through the pictures from that day, we are so happy with Nancy & Jack's work that we are dedicating a Friday night to the pure joy of picture-gazing.I highly recommend Nancy & Jack because they are incredibly kind and professional wedding photographers! They scouted cool spots near the venue to take pictures for us and the bridal party. They also remained flexible for the entire time and even stayed overtime to capture our precious moments with friends and family. And the most importantly, they took amazing pictures because Nancy & Jack know how to make things look natural, beautiful, and fun.

What a racket! TUSD forces you to use this service & then Dodson Photography published the WRONG photo of my child in the yearbook. It could not have been more clear which photo we wanted used but still the error. This CANNOT be undone nor fixed so thanks for nothing Dodson's. You feel like rushed cattle as they are shuffling students in & out every 15mins which shows somewhat in the facial expressions of the head shots. The business is operated out of their home which leaves an unprofessional impression. Their 'studio' is located in their backyard which was chock full of mosquitoes. Uncomfortable to say the least!

My daughter had her senior pictures taken with Dodson Photography. I can't say enough about the whole experience. Truly a memorable day. One that will stay with our family for years to come. Thank you Nancy, for being part of my daughters very special day.

I DO NOT recommend Nancy Dotson photography!!! I am a very hurt bride!! She ruined my biggest day ever!! My wedding pictures we're horribly taken!! The lighting was terrible. She made no effort on my pictures to crop, zoom in nor edited anything!! My Pastor of the church we got married in had his mouth open on every picture and My mother is my only parent in my life and she took no memorable pictures of my mother nor my only sibling(sister) regardless being a late Bride! She also tried to blame my hair stylist. My hairstylist did my hair the way I wanted it to be. Nancy had no excuse on not taking pictures with my mother and sister just because the bride was 30 minutes late! When I called her to see if photos were ready she invited us to pick them up but never showed us before we left that was also very unprofessional of her.. Other photographers needed one year advance I believe those are the real professional ones. Shame on Nancy Dotson photography for putting her name out there 30 years plus. I do not recommend!! IF you do all I can say is good luck on your memorable day..
