Last night for Dillion's , if country and good people were your thing, it's gone after tonight, another good bar bites the dust

I had some of the most memorable nights of my life in this bar as a young soldier stationed at Fort Huachuca in the early 90's. 3 thing you could always count on- 1. A great band filling the dance floor. 2. Cold beer. 3. Hot women in tight jeans. Heaven on Earth!

I was TDY here about a year and a half ago, maybe a little more. I remember it being a valid night spot... I guess Sierra Vista up and died? Because this place is D-E-D dead. It's 9:30 PM Friday night, am I too early? And why is there a dog in here? Yes, I mean there is a 4 legged furry animal in this bar right now. Giving a "higher" rating based on previous experience, hoping maybe someone else will check this place out besides me...

Dillon's is a great place however not too many people there. It has an outdoor patio dancing pool tables and it's clean. The only thing lacking is people dancing having a good time. I am convinced that if more people find out about its location it would go back to the packed dance club it used to be. Friday night is country night and Saturday is mix with hip hop and dance and an occasional country song. I gave it 5 starts because there is no place better in town to have a good time and dance. I would take my friends and make my own party there. Only thing lacking.... More people.

Sierra Vista has never been known for its nightlife. Dillons is probably one of the only real nightlife hot spots (and I use that term loosely) in Sierra Vista, if you like country music (I don't). I'm not overly impressed, but I didn't have any negative experiences, either. It's a typical small town bar with a dance floor. If you live in the Sierra Vista area, and don't have the means to go out of town for the weekend, going to Dillons is an option. Not much else to say.

umm is pretty nice on thursday nights they play ok music and the drink special is nice 2 for one so you cant go wrong with alcohol but they need to get a dress code for the bigger ladies no offence

well i have been here several times on friday and saturdays, thursdays they have hip hop night and other stuff and i haven't gone on those nights but i hear they pack the place out.pros. the place itself is pretty big.good size dance floor, pool tables, a pretty good amount of seating. bar tenders were friendly. there is also a roving waitress. there are people who do texas two step, im not a fan of that style of it but there are a few who do country hustle and some who do line dancing. drinks are pretty good, 4 dollars for a captain and coke 3.50 for a beer i believe. they do also have outside seating. dj is good and takes requests cons: they don't seem to have much of a younger crowd here at all. i would say the average person is over 35 so i'm wondering if there is a flaw in their advertising? on that note most people leave by midnight. bath room is fairly small.overall i gave it 3 because there is a huge potential here and they used to be packed on fridays and saturdays so i don't know what happened, but if you like country music it's a solid place to go and dance.

Peggy, the old owner knew how to run a business. The new owners even charge cover on a Monday-thurs night with no band. They have run in into the ground. No one really goes there anymore. Waste of time. Used to be national road bands, now it just a few local yokels that can't hold a tune. Waste of time.
