Desert Sol Bed & Breakfast

Fantastic atmosphere. Beautiful rooms. Maybe not as luxurious as a 5 star Hilton but nice and and cosy.Very friendly and polite owner

In February of this year, we stayed at the Desert Sol. After an eventful ordeal getting here due to inclement weather in the Midwest, we eventually arrived the day after our original check-in date. The hosts allowed us to check-in in the morning and we got in much needed sleep. From there, the hosts recommended several good spots in the area to explore, which we did! The accommodations were as expected, comfortable and cozy. The breakfast nook had everything we needed for simple meals, coffee, etc. This was a pleasant experience and we would stay again.

My wife and I chose this B&B as it was very close to our friends home. We were greeted warmly by the owner and check in was a breeze. You couldn't ask for a more quiet and peaceful place to stay. The kitchen was great and the room was like a small one bedroom apartment! Very comfortable and everything one would need. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Tucson. Highly recommended. We stayed in the Casita room. Private entry and a nice balcony. This is our first B&B stay and it definitely made an impression. Thanks so much for your hospitality!!

DO NOT GO HERE ESPECIALLY WOMEN!!!! Honestly we felt like we were being filmed had no privacy due to the thin walls! Plus this place was not what was promised. The breakfast provided was not.... other than some bananas and bagels. Nothing prepared. The bed was hard, the carpet looked to be stained with blood, and the atmosphere was not homey at all! Alan the man who checked us in was extremely RUDE and LIED as he came up to hand me a reservation not my receipt so I was unable to get my refund for my stay with the company I was doing business for. He RUDELY said" whatever your doing needs to stop! We have a fragrance free establishment! I have guests coming in less than an hour and what ever your using needs to stop." I politely stated I'm using essential oils. He was still rude. I looked on their website they do not have a fragrance free establishment if they did they forgot to post about it on their website! He also didn't have a way to print off my receipt. OVERALL TERRIBLE WAY TO SPEND MY PAID VACATION! We never felt safe or alone/privacy! We ended up going into downtown another 30 mins away from where I had to be for the weekend. We felt much safer and pleased with the QUALITY INN in downtown. They had a breakfast, comfier beds, and friendlier STAFF!!! I would have demanded my money but i think the walls were so thin when ALAN heard us making plans to stay somewhere else he magically disappeared! Nor did anyone follow up to see if were were okay or alive when we magically disappeared too! No communication only rudeness from Alan shame on you Sir for your lie to make us feel like we were not as important as the other guests!
