Kristen is a great PT and really helped tremendously with my rehab after back surgery. I also used Desert Palm after hand surgery and Connie was also very helpful and motivating. The techs and PTAs were also very helpful and motivating. The office staff is very nice to deal with as well. I think the whole team is very professional, , kind, patient and enjoyable to work with in all ways.

Marcus is the utmost professional and everyone that works at Palm Desert adheres to his high standards. I can't say enough about his team especially Kristin and Mike. My back issues are chronic and their expertise has improved my quality of life and helped me levitate my pain. I highly recommend Palm Desert physical therapy.

I had a wonderful experience in my PT treatment--working on strengthening my core. I felt like I was heard when I needed to modify exercises. Scheduling appointments was pleasant, working with Saige. Christian and Susan were clear in describing the nuances of each exercise. Roger and Michael were very helpful in assisting me along the way. This has been my best experience with physical therapy.

I began physio treatment for my brachial plexus injury in my right shoulder/arm that was inhibiting me from even holding a pen and signing my name. Within 3 weeks of treatment, I feel experienced tremendous results and was able to renew my regimen and get back to normal. I found the staff to be very attentive, pleasant and easy to work with. I never had to wait to start my treatments. The place is well run by a highly qualified physio therapist named Kevin who has a pleasant demeanor and a great deal of knowledge and experience. This is a really professional operation and I highly recommend it for anyone who is intent on recovering from am injury.

Reception is clueless and unhelpful. Received an email prior to my appointment with multiple typos. Looked like a third grader had written it, so this should have been my first clue. When I got there I told the receptionist that I had Aetna health insurance but was under COBRA. She said, "what's that?" Uh - isn't it your job to know something about health insurance? (I said, in my head). I explained what COBRA was and she looked confused. So she went to ask her supervisor what this crazy COBRA thing was, so the supervisor comes out. Unfriendly and confrontational, tells me that yes, my insurance deductible has only had $3 paid on it (last time I checked it was close to $2000). Instead of simply explaining to me in a helpful (or, compassionate!) way why the discrepancy (the plan year starts over July 1) she acted as if I was trying to get away with something. They then told me the first appt. is $75 and subsequent appointments were $70 each. And, they acted surprised that I wasn't going to pay out-of-pocket close to $150 a week for P/T!The only reason they didn't get one star is the place is air-conditioned. And, it's not their fault the US Healthcare system sucks. But, seriously, train your receptionist or hire someone experienced!

I received therapy for my tennis elbow in both arms. Connie was my therapist and was very patient and thorough with my treatment. She always listened to my concerns and made me feel comfortable. She gave me multiple exercises to strengthen my arm/elbow. Scheduling appts were easy. A great team of people who care at Desert Palms. Highly recommend.

Outstanding PT staff as well as super PT therapeutic massage therapist. Having both in one location makes a one stop shop. Matt is outstanding with PT. Toni knows her massage therapeutic techniques that work together to help get me on the road to recovery. Highly recommend both!

One of the best Physical Therapist is Hilary Heskett. I had total hip replacement surgery and with Hilary's recommended exercises, I was able to be walking pain free after 8 weeks of surgery. Everyone was helpful and supportive. Wouldn't hesitate going here, when Physical therapy is needed.

DO NOT make an appointment on a Monday. If anything (illness, family emergency, etc) occurs during the weekend, which causes you to cancel your appointment, they will bill you $50.00 for a missed appointment.I became extremely ill on the Saturday prior to my Monday 2:30 PM appointment. Since they are closed during the weekend I left a detailed voice message at their N. La Cholla location on Sunday so staff would know first thing Monday morning that I could not make my appointment. A week later I received a $50.00 bill for a "missed appointment". I had NEVER missed an appointment prior to that. After a week of sending multiple emails and using their online contact form to request the charge be dismissed, they finally removed it. No one from the company ever contacted me by phone or email to explain why I was charged or how I could have notified them sooner.Based on my experience, Desert Palms Physical Therapy is more concerned with making money than patient care.UPDATE: Within 2 hours of submitting my review I received calls from the receptionist and the owner. Coincidence? Of course not.Now the owner is attempting to discredit my review with false statements. First, the missed appointment charge was NOT dismissed upon my initial contact with their office. My first contact began through their web site on Jan. 17, 2024 (see photos) began immediately after I received a text about a $50.00 fee for a missed appointment. I received a payment reminder text almost a week later on Jan. 23, 2024 because they had not waived the charge despite multiple requests to do so. This was confirmed by logging into their PatientPay system. Second, NO ONE contacted me prior to submitting my review. No call, no voice message and no email.Instead of waiving the charge as a "courtesy", how about saying the fee should have NEVER occurred in the first place along with a simple apology? That would have been the resolution.

I received excellent, professional care from those who treated me. The only negative thing is that I never heard back from them after they requested more sessions to be approved from my insurance company.
