The only bowling center near Sierra Vista area BUT it's in Fort Huachuca so post access is required. The lanes are decent - not too slick. They have a small pro shop, barber shop, and Jeannie's diner. If you decide to go bowling on Friday evenings call ahead to make sure there is no tournament. The place gets busy at times between tournaments and AIT students. The place is well maintained and friendly attendants. Also, within walking distance to the PX and movie theater.

Bowling & Beer!!! Woo Woo!I see most of the reviews for this place are over a year old, so maybe it has changed a bit since then but I thought Desert Lanes is a really nice bowling alley. All things considered there is not much to do on Base, so this is certainly a welcome escape from reality of Base life. We came in on a Wednesday evening, and it looked to be a league night but luckily for us there were still some lanes available for those who do not participate in the league. We played about 4 rounds, grabbed a pitcher of beer & a vodka water from the diner. We had a good old time, though my husband was kicking my you know what, and the only way I could beat him was by him offering to play left handed (Which I barely won that round).Overall the pricing is reasonable for the games, shoe rentals, and drinks. The place is clean and looks like it may have been renovated not too long ago. Staff is friendly and helpful, and all smiles which I can appreciate. Definitely would come back to bowl again, and probably check out the diner which looked pretty decent.

Not a bad place considering it's the only bowling alley around. It was cosmic bowling last night (Sat) and the group of us shared pitchers of beers for $12. "Unlimited games" for $12 - including shoe rental. Not a bad price, but it was a fun time for what it was. The floors were really gross as they were covered in smashed food. I'd have to scrape my shoes off when I'd go to sip on my beer then head to the lane. Otherwise it was very slippery with the misc mush on the ground. It's a good place if you're looking for something to do AND want to stay on post. There's a diner located inside of it too.

Wasn't much of a family place. The music was awful. I've never been to a bowling alley that allows so much profanity to be played. Very disappointed!

It's the only bowling alley in town. On the night we went, it was overrun with students but the staff somehow managed to hold it down, so they heartily deserve compliments! The place itself is in good repair and you can get snacks and booze at Jeanie's Diner which is co-located. If it weren't for great customer service, this place would be a nightmare.

Came here for Rock n Bowl on a Saturday night. Website says it's from 9:30-midnight. Got there at 9:00 only to find out they were closed. Pretty disappointed and so were the big group of soldiers standing outside.

Being the only bowling alley in the town and "renovated" you would think it would be pretty nice...you are wrong. Maybe my expectations are too high? Maybe finding a decent 9lb ball is too main stream? Whatever the issue this bowling alley isn't the best.

Very friendly staff, well-kept lanes, and very clean. The regular game price is not bad. I know of a lot of bowling alleys that are near 4-5 dollars per game. I am going to like coming here.
