Breakfast Plusses:We had 2 full breakfasts for under $20 and portions are generous.Minuses:The ambiance is basic diner. One server worked all 13 tables. You stand in line to order and go to the table of your choice with a number on a stand. The waitress had a very slow, plodding pace and took quite a while to wipe off our sticky table. The portions of the food were generous but you must get up to get your own water or coffee and as well as condiments including salt and pepper packets. Meats were overcooked. There were 3 tables open at 9 AM, all in need of cleaning. The pillars had small lights running up their sides but many were out. Good was basic dinner flavor.

We were expecting something a little more upscale. According to the internet we needed a reservation and they opened at 4pm. So I made a reservation. When we arrived it had been open for who knows how long. There were several people there who were finishing their dinner. The atmosphere was average and the food was average. I do have to say the prices were average, too. It was ok. Would I make a trip to go there again? Probably not.

I attended the 90s rewind concert last night in the Diamond Center. The venue offers complimentary valet parking at the front. To walk through the casino to the diamond center is about 5 minutes. The lines for the bar were long but the wait was reasonable. I had tickets in the 300 section and had a great view of everything on stage with decent seating. After the concert, it took less than 10 minutes of a wait to get my car back. I'm going to keep an eye out for their future concerts and shows as it's a nice intimate setting.

It was an enjoyable experience. We saw a wonderful show, had a terrific meal at reasonable prices and gambled for two hours without losing money.

I am reviewing the Taste Of Agave restaurant inside the Desert Diamond Casino. I think this place is a good place to grab a meal. They honor veterans and the service is great. I can provide a current example. Today I was given a meal voucher for Veterans Day and that voucher covered almost every choice on the menu including dessert. The place was clean and the wait staff was very attentive to my needs. I never had to flag anyone down to refill my glass of water and as they made their rounds on tables they always asked if I needed anything. In my book that's A+ customer service. Yes, it may not have the bells and whistles restaurant decor, but it's pleasant enough to bring a friend or family member to eat and maybe afterwards gamble a little bit if that's your thing. I want to say thank you to Desert Diamond Casino for honoring my service today and all veterans.

Yikes! Started this visit to their Diamond Grill; had breakfast. Rude and abrupt was the cashier. Had a Breakfast Burrito; so-so at best. Mostly tortilla and not very much anything else. Plastic Forks, self serve, including cleaning up after, just like all fast food places. Or in other words, pretty lousy. Then we walked down to Agave Restaurant. Another bust; closed and the billboard menu was unreadable. Literally, so poorly produced it was blurry and unreadable. The place stunk too. Weird unidentifiable smell. Stopped by the Gift Shop on the way out another bust; closed, opens at noon. Go back? Not ever never ever ever never. Here's my take on an issue: they offer a $3.75 special breakfast on Tuesdays to seniors, but you have to eat that specific breakfast only. To increase traffic of seniors on tuesdays seems like a cupon for $3.75 on any breakfast they order would be far more attractive. Not going back though, no matter what they offer. It sucks there.

We have been to the Agave Restaurant more times than I can count and can't understand the bad reviews.The food was always excellent and the servers have always been warm and friendly.We are headed back there soon and will give an update; perhaps sometime has changed?

Food was so-so and not cheap. Plus they do not have an all-you-can-eat buffet anymore.

I called ahead to get permission to park my rv overnight so we could watch an 8pm concert. John from security gave me permission and instructions. I wrote all this down so they'd know we had permission and called ahead. We drove for 3 hours, arrived, and were told by security we couldn't park there and had to leave immediately. We asked for supervisor and explained we'd been given permission to park overnight. Alejandra the supervisor told us John would not have said that (as if we were lying) and that he didn't have authority to give us permission. Alejandra refused to call her supervisor or John to verify what he told us. My husband was super upset by this point and we couldn't drive back home because he isn't able to drive after dark. Concert tickets are expensive and so is gas. Finally they told us to go to their other casino 9 miles away and gave us directions and we could park there and their shuttle would bring us back to the concert. We went down that road and our gps said we were over weight limit for that road that they sent us on. We had to turn a huge rv on a country road and try to find the other casino. Got there and they told us we couldn't ride the shuttle back to the concert at the other casino because we weren't staying in their hotel. The concierge told my husband to get the business card we were given by Alejandra. My husband is older and had to walk back again to the rv to get the card so she could get Alejandra's number. He brought it back and she said "oh I already called her". They finally said it was ok. This place has pathetic customer service. We will never be back. We will post on all our rv groups that we cannot recommend this casino.

We went to Desert Diamond last Friday. The employees in the Desert Diamond Center (where they give away prizes to people who gamble a lot). They were being extremely loud with talking and laughing. There voices would carry to where I was sitting. Several people sat next to me - and they mentioned the noise coming that area. I had had it with all the noise so decided to leave. I did walk up to that area and told that they were being extremely loud and also very annoying. The one lady with the hideous laugh looked at me as if to say "SO". I could not believe their attitude. I was so angry that I called the casino on my way home to speak to management. I was unable to understand the person that answered my call, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was one of the people in that booth that was so inconsiderate.There are other casinos in the area - and that will be where I will go from now on. I'm not a big gambler, but I enjoy a short stay at the casino ever so often. The Sahuarita doesn't seem to care about potential customers. No more for me in Sahuarita.I can't even imagine hiring people like that - and then to have them to deal with the public. Pretty sad state.
