This swim school is AMAZING! My son had taken lessons in Utah and it was awful. This school is well ran and has amazing teachers. Tucson should feel lucky to have such an awesome place!Highlights:- App is easy to use to cancel, use make up tokens, change classes- you know exactly where your kid is at within his level- the teachers are always progressing your child. If your child is really strong in one area, but needs to stay in the level until they pass a different milestone, I've still seen them work on the stronger areas at a higher level. This is huge to me!

I figured an update is in order since they do charge per lesson now that they've updated their system. I love their new online platform. You can book classes, mark absent and schedule makeups, and request to move class times.During the pandemic, they are offering semi-private lessons (2 kids per teacher). We enrolled both my 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son. They love coming to Demont. The teachers are so caring and I feel my kids learn a lot. I like that the facility is indoors so I don't have to wrestle my kids with sunscreen beforehand. There's showers, cubbies, dressing rooms, and bathrooms for people to use. There is a waiting room to watch your 3+ kids behind a glass window. If your kid is under 3yo, their class is a parent + me class.

Our kids (now 4 and 7) have been coming to Demont for over 2 and a half years. I have always been so impressed with the swim school and love them even more for how well they are handling Covid-19 restrictions. After they closed for the first few months of the stay at home orders they sent out several surveys to swim student families. When they reopened you could really tell they took out input and CDC guidelines into account. They even sent videos of walking through the swim school with the new precautions in place so students could get used to the new protocols in the comfort of their homes. New Protocols: Masks are required inside. Classes are now limited to individual students or 2 siblings per teacher. Each teacher in the pool wears a clear Duke full face scuba mask. Stickers are setup 6 ft apart to stand on before class. Only one parent per family is allowed inside. No more showers or drinking fountain use. I know this sounds like a lot but it means they can safely stay open and I think that is pretty epic! This is such a great way to get your kids active and having some fun during an extra difficult time! Thank you so much to DeMont staff for doing this safely.

Excellent! We had a really bad experience w swimming lessons in Seattle right before the pandemic hit. We came to Tucson to be w my mom and I found Demont in April thanks to a rec from our pediatrician. My son is 5 and was sooooo nervous for his lesson, feigning a tummy ache (which he never does). Everyone was kind and welcoming and encouraging at Demont. His instructor was magic. He came out of the lesson w a huge smile on his face and said he loved swimming now :) He's progressed three levels in a few months and can swim across the pool and float on his back already! and most importantly he absolutely loves going to swimming. I am so grateful to Demont

We've been going here for years. We had our daughter in starting at a 6 month class and is now 3 years old. She gets lots of attention from the teachers and being indoors really helps. They also have large changing rooms. A little pricy and it's always difficult to reschedule classes with so many filled up

I can't say enough about this place. We have the one and only Carrie Demont as our instructor. The woman knows her students and how to engage. She is amazing. We are always bummed when we have a sub.

Highly recommend! A fun, safe, clean, caring, and adaptive learning environment. All coaches have been wonderful and very knowledgeable but Cristi has been nothing less than incredible. She makes my son feel comfortable and safe while learning a new skill he very much is still adjusting to. She's patient and provides multiple options while navigating big toddler emotions and always has a great supportive answer when I have questions. I'm overly protective of my son but I wholeheartedly trust Cristi and the staff at Demont.

Love this swim school! Teachers are great. Very organized and my daughter has made a ton of progress. Only improvement would be the cleanliness of the sitting/play area but overall, they do a great job.

Both my children attended classes since they were babies. My daughter has special needs and the staff and the teachers were inclusive and set high expectations for her to excel. Both of my children love the water and swimming. Demont Swim School also prepared them both very well to begin swimming with a swim club competitively. The staff is very conscious of masking and keeping the swimmers safe, as well as the parents waiting in the lobby. This place and the staff have a special place in my heart.
