Demarcos Pizzeria

Came out to Oracle to visit friends and family and had an interesting experience at this restaurant, my friend had a service dog with paperwork and all of the credentials and they refused us all service... we explained that they were breaking the law since she had paperwork but, at the end decided to take our business elsewhere... very sad when people aren't responsible and respectful of those with disabilities and people still have to struggle and fight for basic rights and accommodations... I hope in the future this restaurant can do better .

We two stopped in for lunch while on road trip. It was a good stop.VEGGIE PIZZA (Medium): 4.0. SImple, very good, and filling. We probably should have shared a Small.SERVICE: 5.0. Very friendly and considerate.AMBIANCE: 3.5. Plenty of TV screens playing different sports channels, thankfully muted.

We LOVE De Marcos. The bread for the sandwiches and the rolls are drive 25 minutes to get there worthy. I love the buffalo chicken salad as well. We have never had their pizza but their calzones are really good. We always order to go and our order is always right. The customer service is great.

Stopped here on the way home from picking up my kid from a nearby summer camp. We were the only ones there throughout our meal and only a couple of pick-up orders. Apparently, this place is run by a husband and wife team with their two sons. The pizza was appalling and probably one of the worst that we've had - nothing seemed fresh, and all the ingredients came-off as frozen. What made matters worse is that my kid (10 years old) brought in their water bottle from camp to have some water. The staff would not let her bring it in because they said, "no outside drinks" and that there could be alcohol in it. And we had to get water from them. Literally blew my mind. This was compounded by the fact that only the husband/owner (came later as we were leaving) is the only one there that can speak a degree of English. Steer clear of this establishment and save yourself a headache.

Thanks so much to Maria and her wonderful staff for always being so kind. The pizza is flavorful with a very biscuity light crust. Tastes like there might be a good amount of garlic in the sauce. I ordered a large half ground beef and half pepperoni pizza It comes with a fair amount of cheese, which is always great. I also got the large Caesar salad, pizza and salad total was $29. This location has been around 20 years sitting on the shoulders of the Santa Catalina mountains within the tiny town of Oracle, Arizona. It is so refreshing to have a craft pizzeria out in this small town which is a distance from anything around, if you want pizza keep this place in mind. Sweeping views of the falcon divide to your north, pine trees out the other windows with the rolling hills of the mountains behind them. They also have ice cream so save room for the desserts they offer. Support, local, support craft and support the families that have lasted making the community happy, thanks De Marcos.

Ordered a pizza, cheese sticks and poppers. The pizza was ok but the cheese sticks were gross as well as the jalapeño poppers. I honestly feel that businesses should sample the they are selling. The cheese sticks tasted nothing like a cheese stick .. very weird breading or whatever it was and the poopers were bitter and went straight to the garbage with the cheese sticks. I like to support local but this food really wasn't edible. The pizza required to be further cooked as the dough seemed soggy and half cooked.

This place is great! Their food is fresh and tasty! They even bake their own bread which makes their subs that much more delicious! Thank you for being a great restaurant!

Food was only poor to fair, sauce was very acidic like it had not cooked properly. Owner/chef was very rude. Will not be going back.

Fantastic food and even better service! The pizza was some of the best we ever had. After lunch, our car wouldn't start. The owner drove me into Oro Valley to pickup a new battery and helped me install it. (Had to get a tow anyway) Great guy and great family owned business! Will definitely visit again when we can.

Great pizza! The Demarcos special is a close second to my favorite! Just wish this place was closer to Tucson :)
