A great shopping experience for the whole family. Monica, one of the shops owners, made the kids feel at home by offering them pinball or 'free mystery gifts' from a basket while we shopped. We bought a really cool illuminated traffic light and Monica was kind enough to figure out how to ship it to us in Ohio. thanks for the kindness and we love our purchase!

I found this store while exploring the Sunshine Mile. They had a bunch of activity books I was able to bring back to my sped class about Cowboys (we have RO-deo here in Salinas). The store was filled with neon art , old jukeboxes that had been restored, lots of handmade jewelry and fun things I had not seen anywhere else. There were 2 dogs that were happy to see us (after a few barks). It was a fun store that is bigger than it looked from the street. I bought a bunch of gifts to bring back to MOnterey. I will go back the next time I am in Tucson. I like finding stores that have interesting unusual gifts that you can't find any place else.

Before spending a few days in Tucson, I searched online for one-of-a-kind shops to visit as my husband is big on buying things that you can't just find anywhere else. We love eclectic shops, hence Deco was on my list. My husband and I visited this shop and had a nice time browsing their merchandise and chatting with the two ladies that were there (one was the owner I believe). They were very friendly and we had a great time talking with them. My husband was able to find something he liked and so did I. As previous small business owners, we like to visit mom and pop shops and give them our business. You won't have to worry about anyone else having the same thing like you would when you shop the big name stores. If you are in Tucson stop by for the "illuminating experience".

This place does have some amazing one-of-a-kind type of home decorations that was pretty neat to see. Came in initially wanting to buy some lighting as this shop has unique stuff. Got the most twisted "welcome" from an older man upon entering the shop. Initially the greeting started off with mutual "hellos" and the male addressed the lady behind the counter and says, "Shouldn't we say 'ne hao'" and had the cojones to turn around and shout "ne hao" and something else I didn't understand to my grandmother and me then waited for some reaction from us like we would pull out some gold star stickers and slap it on him. Yes, I can understand that we may "all look the same" but how about practicing some cultural sensitivity especially toward your CUSTOMERS and asking what my ethnic background is before talking to Koreans in Chinese! Never have I ever been humiliated in this fashion. If you're Asian, specifically Chinese, there's someone here dying to practice an ethnic greeting.
