Deadwood Framing

Deadwood Framing recently completed our second and third custom frame job and I realized I totally forgot to post them a wonderful review for their amazing work!1st Custom Piece: We accidentally tore an Asian scroll my Dad handed down to us. Deadwood Framing successfully repaired the scroll and mounted it in a framed box to prevent any possible future damage. Deadwood was helpful in picking the background box fabric and ensured the box frame could easily be mounted to the wall. The framed box was also made of a heavy duty acrylic "glass" that wouldn't crack easily. 2nd Custom Piece: We took an amazing panorama photo from our Hawaii vacation and printed it as a 6 foot banner. The banner photo turned out better than expected and we knew we needed to get it framed. Deadwood had an amazing metalic blue frame that complemented the banner photo perfectly. Deadwood also thought to use an acrylic glass due to the size of the frame. 3rd Custom Piece: My oldest and sweetest cat passed in 2020. I wanted a memorial frame that included my kitty's collar and name tag, a tuff of his furr, a paw imprint, and a photo of my kitty. The frame I originally picked could not be used since it didn't have enough depth for the items I wanted framed, but Wade suggested a different frame that looked even better. The matting and layout is better than anything I could have imagined. Deadwood even installed a special casing to prevent bugs from getting into the tuft of furr. I highly appreciate Deadwood's communication throughout the entire process and wonderful talented craftsmanship.

Bob and Wade are true artists and artisans. As Banksy said, "This'll look nice when it's framed." And with Bob and Wade doing the job, you can count on it. Their knowledge base and artistic eye will work with you and your ideas and create a most fetching, well-crafted frame for your art. Wade and Bob are amazing. I took a buddhist thangka to them to frame - WOW did they make it look incredible. I didn't know particularly what I wanted when I arrived and Wade walked me through the whole process. He was sensitive to my needs, the beauty of the art, and budget. The finished product enhanced the artwork tremendously - elevating it without upstaging. Wade and Bob really know what they are doing and care about the finished product. I highly recommend them to all my friends and am proud to be a loyal client and fan!

All I can say is Wow . Deadwood knocked it out of the park. I bought a autographed jersey as a gift for my girlfriend and I took to Bob at Deadwood and did he ever deliver a jaw dropping job. The look on her face is one I will never forget as she opened up her present . Her son replied that it looks like it came from Pawn Stars. Go to Deadwood for all yr framing needs as they're the best

This is my 5th positive review for Deadwood and I am confident that there will be many more! The two pieces I picked up today were, as usual, much better than I could ever imagine. When I dropped them off, Wade helped me choose border colors and his skill was evident today when he unveiled the final products . On one picture, he recommended a shade of purple to enhance an eggplant color and boy, was he spot on. The purple border balances the eggplant without overpowering the rest of the picture. The point is, Wade's recommendation was exactly what the picture needed. Pay a visit and you will be pleased.

Deadwood Framing is artistry in framing and I wouldn't trust my artwork to anyone else. They are absolutely perfect with their guidance and ideas. Wade and Bob are willing to listen to what I have in mind and cheerfully bring out corner samples, usually getting it right with the first few frames. They perfectly matched an industrial drawing with a frame that looks like distressed metal with screws in it, which turned out just great! They have never disappointed me with their fine work. Deadwood is also home to a beautiful array of hand crafted jewelry and art, as well as a nice selection of greeting cards.
