Exceptional service by the optometrist and assistants. Finally an optometrist that has and utilizes the latest in technology. No more dilation eye drops or waiting 30 min. The selection of glasses is good. Pricing. I would question their discounts and distributor. When the glass material is 2/3 of cost.... VA folks. This is a great choice in our area. Be polite. Show up on time. One out of the four women up front will assist.

I made an appt. for about a week out and was placed on the cancellation list per my request. About an hour after I made my appt, I received a call and was able to be seen same-day! The front desk staff were very polite and professional. The Dr. was top notch. He was attentive and very patient with me. He listened to my concerns, which is a rarity nowadays. He taught me about the different types of contacts and what would work best for me. I am certainly returning!

My exam was good, even ordering glasses w the exception of them trying to sell me things I did not need. I was moving 3 weeks after my exam. They promised to have the glasses in a week. A week later they called and said my glasses were scratched and they had to start over. I reminded them I was moving and gave them the date again. They said they would be ready in a week. A week later I called, they said they would be ready in yet another week. Basically the day before I was set to move. On that day I called only to find out they would be in the day I was set move. I was screwed and had to delay my (3000 mile move). They agreed to call me as soon as they came in so I could hit the road. They did! When I arrived I told the front desk I was there to PU my glasses. They had me sign in, and did and began the wait. Another lady walked in 10 min behind me said she was there to PU glasses and they took her right back. I asked why that was, got no answer. Finally they took me to a table and asked me my last name. They came back a second later and asked if anyone called me because they could not find my glasses. 20 min later they found them. I put them on, saw double. Gal helping could not explain and so I again waited to see the OD. Said it would be 30 min. Having no time I just took my specs and left. 3 weeks late. I'll update this after I have the glasses for a few weeks.

I have been here several times and each time the front desk staff is RUDE! The optometrists are great, and their work is good, but the customer service is just terrible. Unfortunately, they are one of the only shops in town that don't have to send off your glasses, so sometimes I have to bite the bullet. Beware!Tip - They give a 10% military discount if you purchase a complete set of glasses and lenses!

Excellent service, friendly staff, the most through exam I have ever had. I don't know how they could be any more modern than they are with the technology they have. No more dilation of your eyes to look at the retina, no more drops to check pressure. Awesome!

I had an appt for 2:45pm got there at 2:55 pm and was told I had to reschedule. And the receptionist made no attempt to see if she could get me in. As a VA referral I felt it was unfair and should have been seen and evaluated. I had been waiting for this appt for over 3 months.

Madi, Mari, or Mati I'm not sure which it is, the office manager was rude and extremely unprofessional! She hung up on me four times today. The first time she hung up, it didn't disconnect and she started talking badly about me to whoever was in the office. She only realized she hadn't disconnected the call when I spoke loudly enough that she heard me, she disconnected the call then!!! I was trying to ask her a question and she kept speaking loudly over me on each phone call. I finally asked to speak with Dr Daynes, she said I could leave a message and he'd call me back or I could be put on hold. She put me on hold and came back online a few minutes later and answered as if it was another call, as soon as I spoke she hung up again.Dr Daynes did take time from his busy day to call me himself, we unfortunately weren't able to resolve the situation at hand. Sadly my family and I will be taking our eyecare needs and dollars elsewhere. My apologies Dr Daynes!Nowhere else in the Sierra Vista area will you wait as long as 6 months to be seen, even as a "new" patient. Even Walmart eye center will have you in within the month, again, not 6 months out!

I purchased glasses from Daynes Optical a short time before a trip to Italy. I acknowledged the time to get the glasses ordered, made and shipped was due to my own difficulty in getting an eye exam that was quite overdue. The pair that I ordered did not make the shipment in time for me to have them for my trip and so the staff went the Extra Mile and made a pair of progressive lens in the frames that I pick out and provided them in time for my trip. WOW!!! The vision in progressives can be tricky and these glasses were perfect. While on my trip, I so often was very grateful to have the glasses so that I did not miss out on the sites, both near and farther away.I will continue to make future purchases there, because they provided excellent service and a quality product that was greatly needed and went even further by adjusting their service to meet my needs, even though my time frame created a extra work for them.

My new glasses took 3-4 months and then they were not good. I never bothered to get the contacts after I paid for the exam. When I made the appointment I specifically asked if the doctor would prescribe contacts with an actual bifocal number. I was assured he would. NO NOT RIGHT. He prescribes the high, medium, low bifocal which I told him would not work for me. But I had to pay for the worthless contact lens exam anyway. He also offered to look behind my eyes with a special machine for an extra $15 so I would not need to have my eyes dialated. Great I agreed to pay the extra money. Then he stated I did not have lattice degeneration (reason to look behind my eyes as I have this condition). I explained to him that was odd as it has only been confirmed by about 20 other doctors (former military). The condition does not go away. Dr Daynes tried to argue that I did not have it but then decided that next year I should get my eyes dilated for a better look behind my eyes then he would confirm if I had lattice degeneration. So now for the glasses. They were the wrong prescription. The front office person tried to argue that I needed to get use to them. I fortunately had been in glasses before and insisted they were the wrong prescription. The prescription was off quite a bit. They inisisted my eyes had significantly changed since coming in for the exam and picking up the glasses. I mentioned how my old glasses worked fine (i.e. my eyes had not changed significantly). So on the remake of one of the lens they decided in house the lens could not be replaced and I needed to select a new frame. Odd, how the lens were made without issue on round 1. I have a hunch they sent the frames somewhere else to be made and now that I need 1 lens to be re-made it was suddenly not possible. So I had to pick a new frame. It turns out that the 2nd frame was $15-$20 cheaper than the previous frame. I was told sorry we cannot refund the difference. So I finally get my nearly $500 glasses and we go thru the same scenario as before (i.e.. I just have to get use to them and then I will be able to see clearly with them). This time I could see properly with the distance but I still could not read with them. I gave up. I have to switch to drugstore reading glasses. This was the only reason I replaced my old glasses as I needed a stronger bifocal. So unfortunately, I essentially flushed $500 down the toilet by going to this clinic.
