Davis Kitchens

Went to get a quote and start the kitchen process. I knew what I wanted! Easy! Right? Over a month passed and no quote. Finally a call that said she was still working on quote but that we probably moved on. Yep we moved on. Would not recommend. She could have at least called us a week after meeting and told us she was working on quote. Obviously they didn't want our business.

Went back to see Kim to get the design and cost estimate. The design included different size cabinets on top of the upper cabinets. They didn't match. And there was no written estimate. Just a statement that we were about $25,000. Asked for different layout of the top row of cabinets and a written estimate. Never got a call back.

Finally came out after 6 1/2 weeks (with no apology) to look at the granite and told me that was the way it was supposed to look. (give me a break) If you can feel a crack it is a crack. They did fill in the pit holes, but that was all. They should of replaced the whole thing, I would never ever recommend anyone to use them.

I highly recommend Davis Kitchen. Their designers, installers and aftercare is awesome.

We were amazed at the assortment of stone,quartz and other countertops. Yavonne took her time to show us anything and everything. Great customer service. They have everything you need or want for your remodel or new home. They are number 1 in my book.

Davis Kitchens of Tucson and Albuquerque is owned by Third Bench. Third Bench is owned by David Rees and David Fair. Third Bench owns Sherwood Cabinets in LasCruces NM, which is where I had my cabinets done. This latest legal action shows who they are and what they continue to do. I was able to secure a judgment against Sherwood but they continue to not do the right thing as you can see by the attached latest legal problem. David Rees had already been convicted of securities fraud and they just keep going. I would never do business with this company. If anything goes wrong the owners will ultimately decide how it will be handled and trust me they won't do the right thing. Their employees caused damage to my home, my appliances, and to the cabinets they kept taking in and out, not to mention I never got the shelving I paid for. After dealing with it for a year and 1/2 I ended up getting a attorney, securing a judgement, never to have it resolved. We bought our cabinets and quartz through Davis Kitchens. Everything went great, except we are extremely unhappy with this blemish in our quartz. They are saying it is natural and to be expected and have refused to make it right.

Awful experience from when we walked into the store. Went on a Saturday shortly after opening. Didn't get greeted or acknowledged. Three other couples walk in moments after us and they are helped rite away. We browsed and checked out cabinets. Asked for assistance was told someone will be with us shortly. Waited another 15 mins. An older lady comes in she was helped rite away. I then proceeded to go over and wait patiently for a one of the kitchen designers to finish up and asked if she could help us. Taffy did after us being in store for almost an hour. Taffy helped us, she took notes down of what we liked and told her our spending limit. We paid for her to come out to our house and do measurements. We met with her at the store.she showed us the design. However she lost all her notes she took on our cabinets and countertops we wanted, and had picked out her OWN. Gave gave us a price quote of her cabinets and countertops. Which to be frank was a waste all of our time. Since it was not what we had told her we wanted. She apologized and said she "must of lost our notes" and she would have to re do her pricing according to what we wanted. Got back to to us two weeks later. With all the bells and whistles and the spending limit we gave her she went over by 12,000. With all that being our experience with Davis kitchen and Taffy was horrible. Went to Home Depot and spent 20,000 on our kitchen. Should of went to Home Depot from the VERY START. Davis kitchen was a waste of money and time.

Two months are passed and still no estimate. I don't want to think how long would take to get the hole plan of kitchen and bathrooms cabinets.

VERY DISAPPOINTED!! UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Designer Kim Rios came out to measure and told us she would send the estimate and design within a week, A week and a half went by and I reached out to her she advised it would take another week said she was very busy. No response no follow up nothing so by the fourth week we decided to contact a manager and person that answered said manager was not available but we could speak to the owner (mike) ,which we did. We told Mike about how unprofessional his employee Kim Rios was ,he assured he was going to take care of it. A week went by and nothing no message no follow-up from Mike the owner. Second week and my husband decides to leave a message this has been two weeks ago and we still have not received call or message from Mike ,Of course I gave up by now but very upset because had worked with Davis Kitchens 3 years ago and had great service and wanted to match my cabinets. A simple reply or follow up to tell me they were not interested in my business would of been ok .
