As far as premium contemporary art goes this is the end all and be all. All the shows are well thought out and the work is of the highest quality. The prices vary greatly depending on size, artist, and detail of the work. If you are looking to procure modern art you do not need to go to New York or L.A., you can do it right here.

Came here with my parents who were visiting. Disclaimer: we really don't know much if anything about art, we just like looking at it. So I can't say anything about whether the art here is "good" or whether the exhibitions are "put together well". What I can say is that visiting the gallery is a very enjoyable little afternoon activity for people who like looking at things. We had already seen some of the other museums and galleries in town and so we gave this one a shot. We very much enjoyed looking at the paintings and sculptures. It's a small space and it only took us about 40 minutes to walk through and look at all the things on display. Many (or all?) of the paintings and sculptures were "modern" pieces and my parents and I enjoyed trying to figure out what the artists might have tried to convey. For example, one piece consisted of what looked like urin samples with medical labels that they were accompanied by something like diary entries. Other pieces were very clever. For example, one "painting" was 3D. Behind the canvas, there was a piece of plastic that was shining through the canvas. From a distance, it looked like it was simply a painting but when you got closer, you could see that, in reality, there was something behind the canvas shining through. Some of the paintings were also just plain beautiful. I recommend a visit.
