I was late for my appt. I could not get by the attitude at the reception desk. this person needs to revisit customer service 101. I left and took my car to another shop, with no appt although they were slammed they got me in evaluated the problem and i made an appt with them. Oh well there is always choices. They were so nice and competent and drove the car and gave me a quote within an hr. Maybe you should take note!

I've had two interactions with Dan's and both of them have really been so positive that they absolutely have my loyalty. Their prices easily outshine the dealership. They've got a partnership with Costco, and communicating with them is very easy; sorry if I'm behind on the times but I love that I can text message these people and they're very quick about getting those work estimates to you by email. These are the basics.What truly won me over was how they were able to help me over the holidays. I don't want to go into too many details because I don't want to set unreal expectations, but not only did they help me out in a pinch, they also advised me about a warranty on my car that I thought expired...so instead of just doing the work and putting me in the hole several hundred dollars, I was able to follow their advice and let the dealership do the rest. That's building trust right there. Much respect.

This place gives excellent and trust-worthy service. The front end women are well-informed of both the abilities and timing of the mechanic's work. The pricing is fair, and certainly MUCH less than taking to a compulsively shister and just plain dishonest dealer like Precision Toyota. They know just what needs to be serviced and how much they need to charge in advance of the work being done. They are also located right at a bus stop and have a very comfortable waiting area with free custom made coffee and filtered hot & cold water. Even the rest room is large & kept spotlessly clean.

First off, I usually don't write reviews. But when a place is as good as Dan's, I decided I had to. I had two issues involving door locks on my otherwise running great 20 yr old Toyota pickup. I was under the assumption that Dan's didn't do lock repairs or replacements so I called two auto locksmiths that advertised online. I shouldn't have bothered. They either didn't want the business or they didn't call back. So I called Dan''s, who had previously done excellent work on my truck for A/C and emissions issues, for a referral to a locksmith. To my great surprise and satisfaction they do auto lock work. When I described my more serious problem, Leslee told me that before i scheduled work with Dan's I should try something else, which usually fixed the problem and should cost under $20. I did, and it worked!Needless to say I was impressed by her knowledge of Toyotas and that this business didn't try to upsell me for a repair I didn't need. So as a thank-you I scheduled my second, other lock repair with them. They expertly performed the work for slightly under the estimate and I'm completely happy with the results.I urge anyone with a Toyota vehicle, newer or older, to give Dan's a call for any issue you have before scheduling with the dealer or any other vehicle repair businesses. They are honest and do excellent work!

It's 7:30 PM on a Friday night, and my car isn't in Dan's Toy Shop lot where they said I could "pick it up at my leisure" after messaging me that they would leave the key locked in the car. Maybe they check their Yelp on their weekends, since they sure don't bother with email or text about this apparently minor issue - for them.
