Took my mom here 2 Sundays ago after trying to get here here forever. It was pretty slow when we arrived with only 1 other table, however by the time we left around 8pm, it had filled up a bit. I think there was only 1 server so it definitely left her very busy, which we felt the brunt of. Everything was good up until dessert. I ordered the Carlota de limon and was excited to have my mom try it. We sat and waited and waited for it, watched a table leave, watched tables get their food....boxed our food. We waited at least 20min before we stopped someone to ask where it was. We could hear when they went to the kitchen window that there no such order in. The server came back and then said they were out of the dessert, stating that she was checking with a sister restaurant for the dessert. I felt upset we had waited so long and that none of this was communicated. It felt she had also forgot about us but wasn't saying that. When I told her I wished we would have known instead of sitting so long, she was kind, admitted she was affected by the business, and rectified the situation. The food this visit was good as it has been every other visit. My mom enjoyed it and added it to her list. I love the toritos but was sad to see it wasn't the bacon wrapped ones served during Sonoran restaurant week. The ones during this visit also were a little spicy. My husband felt the tostada ahi tuna has too much of a mushy texture with the ahi and avocado and felt it needed a different texture added. It also would have been nice if it came with chips or extra tostadas to eat it with. All in all this restaurant remains a recommendation on my list. Everyone has busy nights, buts it's the communication and resolution that matters for me.

Get the shrimp fajitas. Large portion served HOT with oodles of shrimp and veggies. Excellent value. Get extra tortillas and split the meal. Suggestions for restaurant. Serve better tortilla chips - yours are dry and dull. Ditto guacamole - tasteless. Serve everyone at a table at same time, not 10 minutes apart. Keep the room noise down - impossible to converse when it's very loud.

We went on Restaurant Week for the first time. We had a pre fixe menu for $35. A pretty good deal! The appetizer was a sampler that had one large oyster on a half shell (fresh & flavorful!), a roasted guero pepper stuffed with a lobster filling, and a delicious broth soup. Main course was Cameron's divorciados /shrimp with a red sauce and with a green sauce, rice, beans and small salad. All was packed with flavor and portion size was generous. Dessert was Carlotta de limon (a no-bake icebox cake with cookies layered with a cream cheese filling drizzled with caramel and topped with whipped cream. I really enjoyed the meal.Loved the ambiance. It's decorated with bright colors like a coastal cantina in Mexico. It's also clean.Service was friendly, warm and prompt.Logistics: Downtown street parking only, mostly metered or there's parking garage across the street next to the sister restaurant La Chingada. We arrived at 4:30pm and had no problems finding parking. Reservations/hours: Their phones were not working the 3 days we called to try and make a reservation. You can make an online reservation but it only offered times at 7pm or after. We decided to go early and take our chances. There was plenty of seating before 7pm, so it may be worth it to take your chances if you want an earlier start. Also, their website says they are now open on Wednesdays (when we went) but another part of their website still shows they are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Hopefully, these logistics will be worked out soon. Fresh seafood that is made well in Tucson is hard to find. I will be returning again!

Initially was unsure how this place was going to be as it seemed the menu was pretty limited. Pleasantly surprised with the amazing food and I highly recommend

First time at Cruda and it was a great experience! Seafood was fresh and flavorful. I loved the Ahi tostada but the only thing, is that they are $15 for one. Passion fruit margarita was big and refreshing! Overall loved the visit.

Seafood with a kick.Service and ambience:This is clean and nicely decorated restaurant in a heart of Tucson. We received five star service from all the staff members. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We were the last guests before closing time, yet we were not rushed and received all the attention we needed.Food and drinks:The food was one of the tastiest Mexican style seafoods we have tried so far! Great combination of flavours and fresh ingredients. The seasoning was the hero. Great balance of spices and citrus notes. You must try their ceviche and hot molcajete! Simply delicious. As for the drinks, they offer set cocktails menu but you can opt for a beer too.Pricing:As usual, seafood prices are on a higher end, however, the quality of dishes at this restaurant justifies the price tags.

The food is very good, you can taste the good quality. Molcajete Mixto is the best! Highly recommended. I would like to go back there and try their oysters. Only downside, they charge for the chips and salsa without telling customers before bringing to the table. And the chips are nothing special.
