I was not a big fan of this salon in the least. The woman who cut my hair was extremely sweet, but was lacking in skill. The salon itself needed a lot of help. It looked run down, and as if it saw very little traffic. My gut instinct told me to not get my hair cut there, but my daughter had made the appointment and I didn't want to hurt her feelings. One of the reasons I was so nervous, is the fact that there are no pictures of previous haircuts and satisfied customers. After the lady cut my hair, I tried to keep a happy face, but as soon as I got to my car I wanted to start crying. I have to find someone who can fix the mess she made.

Teresa Motkin is the absolute BEST! Her best traits are that she has:- GREAT HOURS -- There are hardly any other hair stylists [I think there may have been one other one in the salon] that are open/will take you in the late evening weekday -- this is particularly important for those busy working during the day and would like to get hair service done after work. She is able to do this because she works 4 days a week and prefers to chunk them up into really long hours those 4 days.- EASY ADAPTABILITY -- I literally called several stylists around the area at 4pm for a last-minute hair service (update highlights and haircut). She said that she could take me in the earliest at 7pm. It's definitely worth calling this salon to ask if any of the stylists can see you (of course with my experience with Teresa, I can guarantee you'll be happy with the result)- AMAZING HAIR SKILLS -- I came in asking for a touch up on my highlights which grew out over an inch but I also asked her to fix a HORRIBLE previous highlight job that I just let grow out (since I didn't have the time to fix due to medical school). The previous stylist from a different location left my left side with way more highlight than my right side. It looked horrible. I pointed it out to Teresa and she quickly had a solution. She fixed it by giving me low lights in that area.- AMAZING PRICES!!! -- The touch up on partial highlights + a haircut (I have medium-long hair) came out to be $55. Which was pretty awesome! Cash or check are preferred, but she definitely takes credit.I was very happy in the end. She fixed my hair and gained my trust. Would definitely come back to her.

Ms. Tammy passed about one year ago. RIP Ms. Tammy, you are missed.

This is worth checking out. Very clean, friendly salon. They do a great job on men or women's hair. Ask for an appointment with Kerry! She is absolutely the best! She listens to what you want, gives great suggestions, is smart and funny! Best place on the NW side! Kerry is the best stylist in Tucson!

Creative Hair sucks. There is no other way to put it. My haircut from Rita (the owner) was the worst I've ever had. I had to repair it at home and was fortunate enough to spot the problem and even more fortunate to have it blend. I went back to get my haircut specifically by Savitri. Savitri booked me, cut my hair, and I thought I had found a good replacement after looking for months. However, she has become unavailable after being complimented and tipped well as well as seeing me take her information for future use. I wasn't going to bother with a review but one and one equals stink for this shop. I initially was a client of Kerry's. She was mentioned in another review. She no longer cuts hair. Don't look for a long term, polite, and reliable haircut from this salon is my recommendation.

I love this salon! I was always afraid to get my hair colored or cut. I have went to a couple places before only to have to fix my hair. I went to Creative Hair being apprehensive to pull the trigger on letting someone change my style. My hair dresser was Tisha. I went in and told her what I wanted. She was super friendly and didn't cut corners in any part of my full highlights, a layer cut and a blow out. When I left I felt amazing and super confident to adopt Tisha for my hair dresser. Thank you Tisha! I will definitely be returning to her for all things hair. Sincerely a super satisfied customer. Sonya.

Teresa Motkin is a hair genius! I am intensely picky about my hair. She took a photo and a color idea and turned it into the exactly what I wanted! Her prices are super affordable ($14 for a cut)! She often has a Groupon deal, but if you call her she will honor the price without the groupon.
