I'm sorry to say that dr Courtney failed to come to the appointment that I had setup and waited a month for so I could meet her for the first time. I had recently moved back into the area and needed a new primary care doctor, and her office was close to home. The office quoted me a price for the first visit that turned out to be $100.00 less than what she billed me. I saw her PA instead of the doctor who was a very nice young girl. We agreed that normal blood work should be done even though I have no issues or health problems. The bill came for the lab work and it was about triple the amount I had paid previously at my old doctor. Unnecessary extra tests were requested by the PA unbeknownst to me. I called the office several times to see if someone could help me understand why it all went down like this, but though the phone staff promises a return call, I never received one. I stopped by the office to see if the office manager or the PA or the doctor could talk to me about it. None of them were in the office at that time according to the office staff but I was told that someone would call me back before the end of the day. Crickets. I asked the billing company she uses for a reduction in the amount that she wanted ($300.) for the 15 minute office visit where her PA saw me and the doctor never showed up for. They offered a 40% reduction which I paid. I now have a new doctor that is concerned about my health. Dr. Courtney wasn't.

Love the office. The doctor and N.P take there time to see you and discuss things with you. Doctor don't do that anymore. This place does and they keep up on your medical issues. Front and back office staff are great as well and helpful.

I didn't even get to see the doctor and my experience was bad. I called them and gave my insurance info. No issues, no questions, no concerns. I showed up for my appointment and my insurance IS accepted but only a certain, exclusive type. I've never met nor called an office before that didn't know what insurance is accepted and what plans within that insurance is accepted. I wasted my time coming here. I needed a primary care doctor for an urgent medical need and now I have to start over. Dissatisfaction is the mildest feeling I have. AVOID.

Robin is great - she listens and takes the time to hear my concerns.Dr. Courtney is a whole different breed. Like many of the other reviews said, she's dismissive, curt, and does not like to answer questions.Usually I stay quiet, but during this last appointment I asked her point blank why she was being so dismissive of all my concerns. I had expressed a concern over a referral that was sent, which would have resulted in an invasive biopsy being done. She denied that the referral came from her office and was incredibly offended that I was even suggesting it was her office who submitted it in the first place. Turns out someone submitted my referral to the wrong specialist. I'm a veteran and have a laundry list of issues due to being deployed to combat zones and nearly dying and her response to this was that my body has fully recovered by now and I'm fine. After all of the pleasant experiences I've had with everyone else, I was definitely caught off guard when I finally met the doctor.

This place is a joke. Last year I decided to establish care with a PCP because I haven't had one in years. Haven't needed one but figured since I'm 45 now just in case. Right off the bat I was scolded on a couple supplements I take and she tried to push a statin. I didn't want the statin and instead wanted to try exercise and nutrition to lower my LDL which I did. This place wants you to make an appointment every three months for no reason, doesn't suggest anything other than taking pills, and an ear issue I had turned into a cluster. I canceled an apt until I get to see the ear doctor which took 3 months to get into because there's no point in going in for no reason and then I receive a letter they are dropping me. Why would I go to the appointment for no reason before I see the ear doctor? I'm not on any prescriptions and my health is pretty good. pretty hilarious an overweight doctor getting on me for supplements and wanting to change things with diet and exercise instead of pills with no discussion on side effects.Iv worked in the medical field for the last 23 years and have an understanding of health so thx. I do not recommend this place unless you need constant appointments and have no problem paying for them. Also staff were pretty incompetent.

If anyone is thinking about using Dr. Susan Courtney as their PCP, let me try to save you from a ton of aggravation ahead of time. I'm in my mid 60's and have probably had 10 PCP's in my lifetime. I have had great relationships with all of them. I have never encountered such a dishonest doctor in my life. She finds reasons to make you go back every 3-4 weeks. She will refer you to multiple specialists and demand to know when you will be seen by them. She will order a ton of tests that you really don't need. She gets irate if you question anything she says. . When I finally had enough and said no to yet another office visit, she wouldn't renew my normal, everyday prescription even long enough for me to find another doctor. By the way, when every other doctor in town can't see you to establish care for 4-6 weeks because they are booked, and Dr. Courtney can see you in a week, there's a reason for that. She's not concerned about my health, she only wants to fatten her wallet. I finally did find a doctor who is kind, caring and has a wonderful office staff.

I am 71 years old and have been to many doctorsdoctor Susan Courtney was hands down the worst doctor patient experience of my entire life. Susan exudes a rude, condescending, dismissive air, which in turn blocks her ability to listen and any chance for creating a heathy Doctor/ Patient relationship Please believe all the one star reviews, these are the most honest and reflect my experience I believe all the sudden glowing 5 star reviews in a row are fake

The receptionists were very nice. Dr Courtney is such a sweetheart. I am unfortunately dissatisfied with my visit. Due to the doctor's office on base is full. I was assigned to Doctor Courtney. I made an appointment to have a prescription refilled back in Florida. I've been diagnosed with adhd as far back as my middle school days. I have the property documentation to prove this diagnosis and my prescription. I have been prescribed Adderall for my ADHD. I stopped taking it due to not having the time to have it refilled and just getting through life. I requested an appointment a week back for a prescription refill. As soon as she walked in, she told me that she couldn't refill my prescription and that I would have to see a psychiatrist. I've already been through all of this to be diagnosed in the first place. My diagnosis and prescription for ADHD is in recent years as well. It makes no sense for me to do it all over again. She performed a check-up on me which was nice and ordered labs at the end of everything. I don't understand the point of the blood work??? But I think she's just being thorough. I feel like this was an unnecessary appointment. If it was known that she could not prescribe or refill my prescription. There was no need for them to make me come in for an appointment just to tell me no and order blood work. Seems like a money grab. I'm considering looking elsewhere to go. I've seen all of the negative reviews and tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. I'm starting to see why this office is having an issue with low ratings. I do understand that a lot of things could cause symptoms mocking ADHD. But when you HAVE ADHD, the symptoms aren't "mock" symptomsUpdate: dr Courtney has dropped me because of my review. She now gets a 1star. I tried to reach out for weeks to the doctor she has referred me to. I haven't heard anything back from the doctor, so I decided to call this ghetto and unprofessional dr office back, and that's when they told me I was dropped. Narcissist at its finest. Dr Courtney should take constructive criticism and try to become better instead of shunning people who is saying the same things about her. Disgusting and unacceptable. She didn't even give me a heads up. This is the worst practice I've ever experienced in my life!!!
