My vision was restored with cataract surgery performed by Dr McColgin. I have been extremely nearsighted with thick glasses my entire adult life. I am now 20/20 and use readers. Incredible outcome and I am very thankful. I am being monitored by Dr Moffat for other issues that could damage my eyesight. I am privileged to have found such a high quality conscientious practice. The surgery and stable outcome has allowed me to drive safely and enjoy nature and the beauty around me. Huge, huge, huge!!

Dr. Wang is rude and arrogant. We heard good things about Dr. McColgin, so tried to make an appointment 2 months ago with her. It was for 11:30 am. Not having received the usual reminder call one expects from a medical office, I called to confirm that morning. I was then told that my appointment was with Dr. Wang, not McColgin. I asked why, when I was told it was with McColgin, and they had no answer, other than that she is in surgery, and "I don't know who made this appt for you." They also said Dr. McColgin would not be available for another month, so I said I would come in at 11:30 and see Dr. Wang as scheduled, as my condition had not improved. At that point, the front desk staff member told me that my appointment was for 10:45!!! I told her they don't know what they are doing and I was cancelling, and didn't expect to be charged anything. She snidely replied "Sounds good" so I hung up. Unbelievable.

Going through a health scare and contacted Cornea Associates to get a second opinion. Despite having disclosed my condition, they booked my appointment at a satellite location that did not even have the right type of equipment to confirm the diagnoses (yet somehow they asked me why I booked an appointment at the wrong facility when I'd never even been there before). From the moment I stepped into the appointment (before I even had my incomplete "eye exam") they pressured me to go through with an expensive and relatively new surgery procedure. They also apparently don't use insurance to fit medical contact lenses...the whole experience was just total and utter trash, no bedside manner, and felt like a sleazy scam. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

From check in to check out, I had a great experience for my first time coming here. The staff at check in were kind and helpful. Wait time wasn't bad at all. The staff helping me to the back were wonderful. When I finally met Dr.Wang and his assistant Vanessa they were very kind and helpful for my situation. Dr.Wang is very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing. He makes sure the patient is receiving the right care safely. This office is clean and well kept. Staff members provide excellent customer service and Dr.Wang is a kind doctor. Highly recommended! 5 stars earned!

Read the reviews people they are pretty much right on! I've just had a similar experience with rude staff and an appointment that I was turned away from because of a lack of communication in qualifying my need. From what I have experienced and read in reviews about CA, I'm wondering how they stay in business? I for one know that there has got to be a better Dr. office out there, it's just not here!

My five stars are for this brilliant doctor McColgin. She cares. She is honest. She is friendly. She helps nervous patients to relax. I was petrified of the surgery. I did not want anyone to ever have to fool with my eyes. I would take my mother to Dr. McColgin and I truly loved my mother. The staff at the Campbell office is very friendly and helpful. Vanessa, Amanda, and Monica assisted me with contacting my ride and I have low blood sugar; Monica went to their refrigerator and brought me a protein drink so that I would not get sick.I am willing to do a commercial for Dr. McColgin and not get paid. She is a Godsend. I truly believe that God orchestrated that I would find out who she is through Dr. Iveson who referred me to Dr. W. Lynch who referred me to Dr. McColgin. What qualified doctors and such a blessing to have these doctors in my life. God bless Dr. McColgin and all of her staff and fellow-colleagues. I am recommending her to all of my friends and lovedones who are in need of eye care and surgery.

I have been a patient here since 1995. Dr. MCColgin has performed 3 cornea transplants, two cataract surgeries. I recommend her unconditionally. My wife is also a patient here as well. Dr.Moffet is an absolute wonder in fitting contact lens. The staff has always treated us with courtesy and patience.

Though I will continue to see the doctors here because they were highly recommended, the scheduling dept. is atrocious. I made an appointment over a year ago; trying to keep on top of things and to make sure I take care of my eyesight. A month ago, the scheduling people called and left a message statjng "they needed to change my appt.. Could I please call them to reschedule?" It seems the doctor didn't accept my new insurance. Ok, this is understandable. I returned their call and changed the appointment to the day after my original appointment. So I takeoff from a place where I have been helping out to make a little extra money (Disability pay is very small). I drive from the FAR WEST SIDE of Tucson to their office on the EAST side of town, at Speedway and Wimot (a 45 min drive). I go to check in and am told "aw shucks lady, we called and left you a message telling you we had to change the date AGAIN!!!" They, SUPPOSEDLY, called a second time and had left a message telling me the appt. was changed to three weeks from now. Except, I NEVER RECEIVED a second message from them. I never rec'd any message telling of the new date, asking me to return their call to let them know if the new date and time was acceptable. Wouldn't that just be common sense to have a patient return their call and let them know that the new appointment time is fine, I had no other plans for that day and time??? Geez, do they have such a large God-complex that they feel everyone will meet THEIR schedule, too bad if you had something else to do that day???The people working there are INCONSIDERATE and beyond rude. How did they even KNOW if the new date and time was acceptable to me if they didn't have me call them to verify it??? And, as it is...I NEVER EVEN REC'D THEIR SECOND MESSAGE. THANKS A LOT PEOPLE!!!! Will you deduct my double gas expense from my bill?

I have been a patient at Cornea Associates on speedway for the past 3 years. I am a Canadian so only use this clinic when I'm in tucson which is 5 months per year. Other than my initial appointment 3 years ago I was always charged $75 per visit (no insurance so paid cash). Today I had an appt to check my pressure. A simple procedure performed by the technician. I indicated this was what I needed when I made the appointment. On arrival I was informed by the receptionist that my fee would be $180. The technician checked my pressure and the "dr" spent less than 5 minutes looking at my eye. Something that I did not need or ask for. For this I paid $180. If the front desk would have had the courtesy to tell me that I was going to be treated as a "new" patient and incur the $180 charge I would have used a local optometrist who could have performed the same test. Needless to say I will not be a patient of Cornea Associates again.
