I ate dinner here yesterday by myself, sitting at the bar. I ordered chicken wings ($11) from the happy hour menu. The wings came with carrot and celery sticks and a tub of ranch dressing. Service was excellent and very friendly. The food was good too. Menu prices seemed quite reasonable. The space is bright and airy and open to the outside, which was nice until a bee started buzzing around me. Aside from the bee, though, I was quite impressed with the place.

I came her last night with a friend since Cork & Craft accepts money from meal plans. I was shocked to see that the inside of Cork & Craft really made you feel like you were in a real restaurant. There was a bar, some TVs, and plenty of tables. I ordered the Chicken Avocado Club and my friend ordered the Grilled Cheese. My friend's meal was brought out 10-15 minutes before my food came out, which seemed very odd to us. When my meal came out, a manager came to replace my fiend's meal that had been sitting there. There seemed to be some miscommunication between the our server and the manager, as they both began to help us. As a student who used to eat from campus frequently, I instantly recognized that the food was all the same from the dining halls on campus (85 North and Cactus Grill) as well as the the food from the union. It felt as though my sandwich was made at On Deck Deli in the student union, then buttered and toasted on a pan. My sandwich also came with a side salad, where many of the greens were close to wilting and the cucumbers were half frozen. My friend said her sandwich and soup were good but did feel a bit greasy. Overall, our meals were not terrible, but definitely not fresh. While I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who is not a student, I do think Cork & Craft is a great new place for students to change up their routine and still use their meal plan.

I came to Cork and Craft for an event I was invited to. This is a new concept to U of A. The decor of the place is well done. There were groups of faculty and staff enjoying after work meals. The workers are friendly. This event was self-serve style so can't comment much on their quickness. I did see a few of the other guests ask workers about certain things and they seemed very attentive. The food was good and appreciated the variety available for the event.

Cork & Craft is a new dining concept from the Student Unions in the University of Arizona Historic Dining District just down the sidewalk from the University of Arizona Bookstore. The vibe is more upscale than the usual campus dining. This is the first ever on-campus brewery, soon they'll have beer brewed by the School of Nutritional Sciences and Wellness. For now you can find favorites from Dragoon, Motosonora, and Barrio Brewing. They had a good menu selection for on-campus dining and also have a Happy Hour on Monday through Friday from 3-6PM.I stopped in for some lite bites, enjoying their Cauliflower and Corn Fritters as well as their Panecito. This is a great place to grab dinner or drinks before or after a sporting event or various arts and entertainment activities on campus.

Went with a group of friends and had the slowest service I've had in the last few months. They messed up our drinks, took forever to serve, and did not have anything in stock. I will not be returning.

Attended a Saturday afternoon Purdue Alumni Club event that toured the School of Nutritional Science and then Cork & Craft, where the chef paired delicacies with craft beer. It was an unexpected treat.

4 Mocktails took over 20 minutes to get. They were not even mixed and one of them was incorrect. We asked a waitress if we could get the correct one and she basically told us the menu was wrong and walked away. Waited another hour for our food (3 appetizers) before we finally cancelled the food and paid for the drinks. The UofA union has had many problems (rats at the previous shake smart included) but this was by far the worst experience. Ambiance was nice but the staff seemed rushed, rude, or missing and we left unsatisfied and starving. Don't bother with Cork & Craft, just wait a few years for them to replace it with a new poorly run establishment.

Went it for lunch as a group of 4. Restaurant was not busy with only a few other diners and it took 40 minutes for our food to come out. A few bites into my veggie burger and I discovered the center was FROZEN. Crunchy, nasty, frozen. Showed the waitress. She asked if I wanted something else but I had to get back to work and I told her I couldn't wait another 40 minutes. She tried to take the plate away but I objected since I wanted to at least eat the fries so I wasn't starving the rest of the afternoon. When the bill came, I was still charged for my frozen uneaten burger. Most expensive plate of fries i've ever eaten. Will not return.

Food was good but a little pricey (Panda Express is a few steps farther into the Student Union). Waitresses were pleasant and attentive.--RTH
