Cora's Cafe

Early on a Sunday morning after an airport run I was looking for breakfastHeading up Park Avenue into Tucson I saw a line of cars at Cora's Cafe. A rather unassuming place from the outside but once in the door I knew this was going to work.I had machaca, rice, and beans, along with corn tortillas. And it never hurts to have a little side of tornados. The meal was great and the price was right. I recommend you give Cora's a try.

Definitely don't come here and order chilaquiles on Sunday morning. Then you'd find out that the chilaquiles are fucking incredible, and Sunday mornings here are mellow as hell, and might be the best kept secret in Tucson.

I love coming here for lunch or breakfast! Good home like vibes! Traditional space and good location. Food is delish every time I come here! One thing I haven't tried from here but I want is the mini chimis and catering. Very interested in seeing how those taste etc.. I will when an occasion pops up! Different specials everyday! The server Luis has been there for years. He makes your experience there fun. Jokes with everyone! He remembers his regulars and even gives them nicknames. He does an amazing job there and sometimes he's the only serve for a crowded room but he knows how to manage it. Great job Luis!

We didn't eat inside here, we just got breakfast burritos to go and they were some of the best breakfast burritos I have had in awhile. This place was recommended by a co-worker. I definitely am curious now on how the rest of their food is. Will visit in the future and have an updated review.

I went in the morning and had very fast service. The waitress was very attentive with orders and then refilling coffee and water. Food came out fast and was good! Tastes homemade! Would recommend again for breakfast

Some of the best chilaquiles I've had besides made at home. They were very flavourful. The coffee is great( i love coffee) lol. The service was great, the guy that helped us makes you feel at home, they're all very nice. The place feels very " homie" ( not like gangster but like home lol) my wife had the machaca burrito and she loved it. Definitely recommend it and we will be coming back without a doubt

Good, homemade Mecican food! Their Pancakes are fluffy and light too. "Ala Mexicana" plate/Omlett is outstanding. Red Menudo is very mild and has lots of Hominy w/a good balance of Tripe and you get the fix'ns to spice it up to your liking and add cilantro/onions if you like. Service is good and one of the waiters is a character (he looks like a young Uncle Fester from the old tv show "The Adams Family"), a real character! We keep coming back for both the food and Fester!

The red chili came out cold. They took it back, put everything in the microwave and they cooked the eggs. that made them hard horrible service

This place is fire! It's the second time I've been in here and the service is amazing and the food is authentic Mexican. Low prices and high quality. I highly recommend!

This is my second visit. I'm not in this area often but I would be remiss if I didn't let people who love Mexican food to eat here!The place isn't fancy inside or out, but it is clean, has great and friendly service, and really good food!We need more locally owned restaurants like this and they certainly deserve it patronage!
