Came on a Saturday at 4:00 p.m. About 3 food trucks open. False advertisement and waste of time. On top of that they charge $2 per person.

Comida Park is always so fun! great selection of food. The times I have gone, a lot of the food trucks were closed :( there's usually live music on the weekends or some type of DJ.

Love all the offerings at Comida Park, especially the Birria Munchies truck and Churros Del Rey! Service is friendly and quick, ambiance is great especially on weekend evenings!

So Google maps does lead you to swap meet lot so we spent time walking around when Comida Park was up from right by Palo Verde. It's a good concept with picnic benches and food trucks in one area. There was only one food truck open when we went at 1:30 pm, Boboblastic, which is what we wanted to try. It's still new so food was a little slow but they were really friendly. The food it served was eclectic, but food was fine.

There are definitely some growing pains here. We visited on Sunday of the grand opening weekend at around 12:50 p.m., and although it was admittedly Superbowl Sunday, most of the food trucks were not open for business. For their grand opening weekend. On a Sunday. At lunch time. Hours before the Superbowl was scheduled to air. One would think a food truck business would be open to serve food then. Second complaint is the address needs to be separated from the swap meet. Google Maps took us to the parking lot of the swap meet, where it was disconcertingly deserted and there were no food trucks in sight. It was not until we parked and gingerly ventured past the dusty (and closed) swap meet stalls and rusted carny rides which likely saw their prime in the 1960s to 1970s that we finally saw a sign for Comida Park and some of the food trucks came into view. Third complaint: the three food trucks we visited took way too long to prepare the food. It should not take 20 minutes to prepare one banh mi sandwich (Banhdicted), 20-30 minutes to prepare one torta sandwich thingy (El Golden Taco), and 30 minutes to prepare one bean and cheese pupusa (Pupuseria Rositas). This pace would not fly were there many more people ordering food. The reality of Comida Park is a farrrrr cry from its gussied website and not as billed. Alas, a disappointment. Has room for much improvement.

Don't advertise that you're open 7 days a week if you're not. Gone three times now.. the first was an hour before closing on the weekend and the next two have been during the week. It's frustrating to make the drive just for an empty lot every time.
