Cindy's Italian Icees

Cindy's Italian Icees is the Finitos of Rio Rico. If you've been to Finito's in Nogales, you know what I am talking about. Cindy's is serving up delicious shaved ice but it's not the traditional shaved ice you'd have from a snow cone. The Italian Icees are so smooth and there are no chunks of ice in these. A similar texture to an Eegee's if you will, only better. Cindy's offers a variety of delicious flavors. My favorites are lemon and mango. Their flavors are anything BUT artificial which makes them so tasty. My only complaint would be the inconsistency with the hours. I can't tell you how many times I have stopped by during regular business hours and it's closed which is very disappointing. But I can say that the Icee's at Cindy's are amazing, the prices are affordable and both Cindy and Gloria are always so friendly and happy to serve their customers. Great cool-down treat for the many hot days in AZ.

The vanilla with lechera is reaaaally good.....Actually all their flavors are really good and great service.

Great tasting icees, but very unreliable with their hours. I tried stopping by many times and they were unfortunately closed every single time. The times it was open, the service was excellent - so it would be nice if they were more consistent with their hours of operation.

OMG!!! Cyndi and he mom Gloria are amazing. Such a delicious treat! A year ago I didn't know what a tamarind was, but the Tamarindo was delicious!!! We will be back for sure next time we are in Rio Rico.

My family needed a cool, refreshing treat and the icees were perfect! There's nothing like them in Rio Rico. My kids enjoyed strawberry, blueberry, and cherry flavors. My wife and I opted for tamarindo, lemon, and mango flavors. The service was excellent - friendly and helpful. I'll be frequenting the place more often!

What a wonderful little hidden gem, like an oasis in the desert! Perfect for an afternoon snack! Every time I'm in Rio Rico I have to stop here. Should be 4 1/2 stars only because we've been trying to stop by everyday this past week and they have not 0 to their posted hours instead, closing early. Been craving it for MONTHS and was really bummed it hasn't been open in the Afternoons/evenings. We got lucky today since the posted hours now say open til 7pm
