Churros Inzunza

This is a pop up dessert stand that primarily sells, you guessed it, churros. They also have other dessert items such as horchata, combucha, coconut, choco-flan, fried plaintains, and cinnamon rolls. Their menu items are vegan and gluten free. The vegan churros definitely have a different texture to the normal churros and they were quite nice. It's a bit expensive as it cost me $11 for a large churro.

I feel bad leaving such a bad review. I'm sorry. But the cinnamon roll is awful, mushy flour tasting mess. Frosting bland and watery. I'm only writing this to warn others to stay away. Churros were also very bland, thin and plain. And not sanitary either... as you can see from their own photos, they just throw it on the counter... where they are also handling money and everything else. They were very kind and maybe the horchata is where it's at, I didn't get any. But this is the sort of place that gives vegan and gluten free it's bad name.

Went to Rillito Farmers market this Sunday and tried churros from this food stand ($7 for 10 pieces). I was BLOWN AWAY. These were honestly the best churros that I've ever eaten in my entire life. They're so crispy, sweet, golden, and crunchy. The sugary crystals on the outside, YUM. And the best part as soon as you bite in, its soft and melty. Would come back to tuscon just to experience these churros again. Will be dreaming about these in my sleep.Also got the horchata, was good too!!

The entire menu at Churros Inzunza is vegan and gluten free and you wouldn't even know it. The churros are perfectly crunchy on the outside with a soft and gooey inside. The coconut milk horchata is refreshing with a slight richness from the coco milk. All in all one of my favorite food stands in Tucson. See them at the Rillito farmers market and support local!!

Tried this business at the Rillito Farmers Market. Bought their vegan cinnamon rolls. What a disappointment. The were tiny little cinnamon rolls and I ended up having to throw them away because they were hard and awful. Never again will we be going there.

WOW! so good! i recently discovered i have a wheat allergy, so their wheat free churros were worth a try and wow are they yummy. they are made with oatmeal flour! dare i say i liked them better then regular churros. Their coco "horchata" is so good, as well. I will defiantly keep my eye out for them as i drive around town
