The mold had traveled eight feet up our entry walls.
Nice fridge, except for the cancer warning inside. WHERE I STORE MY FOOD

CHRISTIE'S 'contractor' wanted to replace the wallboard over this.
This sticker was not visible when I inspected and purchased the floor model. They slapped it on after purchase and before delivery

Extremely knowledgeable. John was very helpful in us making our decision to purchase a GE washing machine more so than Sears Outlet. Delivery was only $39 as compared to $84. Thank you John. Would have given it 5 stars but will reserve my update until after delivery and use of the appliance.

Purchased a washer and dryer on 1/29. The dryer had to be ordered and we were told they had a washer in inventory. Two weeks later when checking on the order I'm told the dryer is in town but they had to order the washer. So, it appears they did not hold the washer that was in inventory when we placed our order. Now we have to wait longer - maybe next week??? So will they now sell the dryer to someone lead also????Unbelievable!

Better customer service. *******REVIEW UPDATED*******NO NO NO!THEY WILL HAVE TO COME OUT AGAIN. SEE THE STOVE IMAGE IN THIS REVIEW. THE INSULATION IS FALLING OUT. IT'S CLEARLY NOT SECURED PROPERLY.YET ANOTHER DAY MY WIFE WILL HAVE TO TAKE TIME OFF WORK.NOW I MUST DOWNGRADE TO A SINGLE STAR REVIEWOur family and friends have used Christie's over many decades; in large part due to our recommendations. I can't say I want to recommended this company any longer.A few years ago we totally refitted our kitchen with new appliances. All from Christie's on Ina. Douglas was very helpful. Our oven, not long out of warranty ceased functioning correctly. We called in Christie's and my wife took off from work to meet the repair person. The tech determined he couldn't repair the unit. Needed to order a part. That took a few weeks. The part came in and we scheduled another service call. My wife took off from work again. It was determined the part was broken and a new part needed to be ordered.A couple weeks went by and the part came in. My wife told the scheduler she couldn't keep taking off work like this. She asked the scheduler if they could put repair order in for first thing this morning so that she could get to work and wrap up payroll and other things that were critical for Friday. My wife understood that we'd be first today. Not so.We just received a text. At 8:09 AM today we received a text from Christie's indicating the tech just started his route, and we were stop number 3 for the day. So here she sits at the house waiting, for who knows how long, for a tech to show up again.I would've given Christie's one star for all of this; however we've had a long relationship with Christie's and it's hard for me to give them any less than two. Regardless, one star is deserved.Their text and human communications have been pretty spotty. One female was borderline (I'm being nice) nasty to my wife when she called a few weeks ago seeking the status on the first ordered part.On November 11th, I received a text from Christie's containing a link (see image). Only a link. Nothing else. It didn't indicate who it was from and it didn't say what it was about. It just wanted us to click a link. That's fool hardy for anyone to just click a link that came in on a text message, not knowing who it came from or what it was about. After a bit we did figure it out and I reached out to Christie's telling them that's crazy. Who clicks a link coming from an unknown sender that indicates nothing about it's purpose?Unprofessional and disappointing.Still waiting for the tech to arrive...CHRIS, THE TECH, HAS ARRIVED.I'd give 5 Stars to Chris. He's great. Every trip he's made has impressed us with him.The issues are with the administrative end.

It has now been one year, Nov. 2021, since CHRISTIES APPLIANCE first answered our call to replace the ice maker in our refrigerator. The visit of their repairmen resulted in a slow leak that was not detectable for two months. Of course they denied responsibility in spite of the repairman affirming the leak and mold damage which was his fault. The mold repair and cabinet replacement was a $6,000 plus bill. My insurance stepped in and was responsible for the initial costs. Of course my deductible was my responsibility. For the ensuing 5-6 months CHRISTIE'S would not cooperate with my insurer so as to complete the claim process. This tells me that CHRISTIE'S insurer was tired of paying out for their carelessness. The case finally went to subrogation and remains there to this day. No settlements yet, and never a word of apology from CHRISTIE'S. Please refer to my previous review from last summer for all the details. I would invite you to do your research before trading with this 'outfit.' Their customer service is terrible and the mismanagement never seems to improve.

DOES YOUR APPLIANCE COME WITH A CANCER WARNING?Be sure to ask if your appliance causes cancer.I bought a Haier floor model from Christie's Appliance (on Ft Lowell) and after they delivered it I noticed they slapped a cancer warning on the inside of the fridge sometime between the showroom (it was not present) and delivery. Not a joke. And not great seeing this. Called Haier and asked and it is impossible to get a straight answer as to why it is there. The rep said I assure you it won't cause cancer - to which I ask ok, so then WHY IS IT THERE? Ask if your fridge will get one of these before committing to a purchase. It would be great if they could make this right, I'll take any hunk a junk so long as it doesn't cause cancer.Follow up - 12/8/24 - received an email from Christies stating what happened, didn't happen. Fact: There was no cancer warning sticker when I inspected the floor model. Fact: When it was delivered and I opened the door, there it was. Shop somewhere else, don't give your business to these people.AND MAKE SURE YOUR FRIDGE DOESNT CAUSE CANCER (look at picture)

I've used Christie's for years, but never again. Bought an expensive GE washer, and with light use for two years it failed to turn on. Had a quicklook from another trusted technician, and he indicated both logic boardshad no power, and the computer might be to blame. Talked to Vince, and sure it was out of warranty, but between visit fee, labor fee, and very expensive price of the cheap components we were looking at a repair price close to the initial investment. Maybe GE is made in the USA, but the electronics are cheapand made outside the USA. Never again

I purchased a ge refrigerator on2-26-24. I have nothing but problems. on my first call to them I was told to get some dry ice.they sent eric a service man over to check it. my water on the top shelf of my refrigerator is freezing and my milk on the first shelf is spoiling. I was told that water on the first shelf towards the back will freeze. that is normal. I don't believe that. they are telling me everything checks out ok. how can that be. This is not acceptable to me.Linda

We needed to replace our GE Profile microwave that is "built-in" above our oven. Christiies had us measure the current unit and enclosure to make sure that we could geta model that would fit. After comparison shopping other local and national stores and Christies had the best price for the model we needed. Though it was not in stock they got it in within a week and installed it the next day - installers were very efficient and pleasant. If any of our other GE appliances die this will be our first stop.
