Chocolate Iguana

I personally really liked the food and the drinks. It was smooth and very tasty. I would return. The inside was alright to sit and chat for a bit. The lady wasn't that friendly but oh well. They had drinks, muffins, danishes, sandwiches, chocolates, and ice cream!

So happy that the Chocolate Iguana is back and now it's on the northwest side of town. It's like a charming cafe with purple decor, which happens to be my favorite color! I was immediately greeted and took the time to look around for a moment of nostalgia with their candy aisle. There is a fantastic selection of pastries both gluten free and regular. You also have your choice of bagels, ice cream and made to order sandwiches. I ordered the ube muffin (purple) and an everything bagel. Both were magnificent! For my drink I ordered an iced vanilla coffee. I am so glad to have Chocolate Iguana so close to me!!!! Let's continue to support local!

Drove by this little mom and pop coffee shop (we love supporting non chain places). My caffe mocha (double espresso) was really good (much better and so much less sweet than Starbucks). The croissant breakfast sandwich was also pretty good. Amanda was super friendly and made our drinks really good

Would you like some coffee with your sugar?At Chocolate Iguana, you've got a candy store and an ice cream parlor with a few iced/blended espresso options tossed in. Even their signature item, *the* chocolate iguana takes espresso & ice cream, then adds even more chocolate to it. It is, in my kindest terms, a rather juvenile menu, but it's not like I didn't enjoy my mocha. As others have noted, it looks a bit empty and unkempt in here. I hope a resurgence in foot traffic this spring gives them an opportunity to replenish their inventory, dust the place off, and live up to their vision of a charming cafe.

I drove out of my way to visit this little gem. I love local coffee shops. This is my least favorite in Arizona. Walking in is like a step back in time to 2019. No covid precautions at all. No problem, I was only ordering to go. The shelves were maybe 1/3 full, the bakery case also a bit sparse mid morning. I ordered a snickerdoodle iced latte and a turnover. The turnover pastry had that frozen char taste to it and was slightly undercooked. The latte was a powerful hit of cinnamon and sugar. I get that it's a snickerdoodle beverage, but my tongue should not recoil from cinnamon with every sip. Completely covering any coffee flavor. I wish I had better things to report but I doubt I'll be back.

Appears to be closed. There was a new "name" painted on door but inside appeared to be empty.

Talk about literally the best coffee ever!! And the owner is so kind, she came out and made sure our food and drinks were perfect, my friends and I really appreciated it. They have an ube muffin that is to die for and the vibes overall are so awesome. Will for sure be making this my morning regular. Highly recommend.

Very friendly service. Cute little spot. Great selection of candy. You can get a breakfast sandwich anytime! Their other sandwiches are also good!

Great coffee, great goodie's, great people! Americano was smooth and the frozen explosion cappuccino was amazing. The raspberry cheese tart was delicious!! A Tucson staple that never disappoints!!!

New location on La Cholla Blvd next to Albertson's. It's not open yet. There's cloud paper over the windows . Hours are posted. No signs saying anything about not being open yet or "Opening Soon!" No contact information either. Hopefully, they will open soon!??????
